I'd not have set up this thread if she'd not been given air time.

Crowd funding,...what percentage? The amount she hinted at equated to less than 0.2% at 1p each from those who'd voted to remain. Mr Blair did not crowd fund her either otherwise she'd have bragged about it and/or Mr Blair was too embarrassed to make it public for good  reasons; the remainder (99.8%) could not be bothered and/or too ashamed to be associated with her any more as she'd proven nothing but just an attention seeker.

I think someone in this thread maybe fangirling over Gina Miller.

Which is unfortunate as her willingness to do TV is being curtailed, without a friendly interviewer or if her positions are put under pressure she melts.

I think it is great that everyone with Virgin mobile or broadband is contributing to Gina Miller's election initiative, the Best For Britain group.
Keep up the support.

What election initiative?

Don't worry, CJ, Gina is not standing herself. The initiative is to identify and influence a hundred seats in the coming GE towards electing MPs prepared to block Brexit if absolutely necessary. Richard Brandon has kindly donated offices and the services of Virgin chairman Peter Norris.

Of course she isn't standing herself, although her intention was to stand in Maidenhead. Someone with more electoral nous obviously talked her down informing her she'd lose badly. When exposed to people who didn't agree with her she couldn't handle the pressure, so standing would bring extra scrutiny which she can't deal with. Her TV work during the last few weeks evidenced this.

Isn't the rest of this plan falling apart as well? As it looks like only the Greens and Lib Dems are interested?

Maidenhead is Theresa May's seat, she scored five times as many votes as any other candidate last time. "Electoral nous," - what a Poindexter.

Well done, isn't Google great? Now if you make that same effort with key words 'Gina Miller' and 'Maidenhead'.

CJ - Gina Miller is a lawyer. She is far more intelligent than you are. She did not decide to swerve Maidenhead because some Welsh svengali who claimed he could easily manipulate the Brexit market advised her that she would "lose badly."

so ginner miller and co are target 100 remain seats, whilst ukip are standing aside in seats where in their opinion a true brexiteer of any party has a better chance of winning,

does this mean mother theresa,s election to unite the country has failed before its got off the starting blocks

She may be a qualified lawyer and so is Sadiq Khan; google and read what the former's colleagues/associates write about him, and Boris can eat him for breakfast in politics and charisma.

Lol. Is that your argument. Someone is a lawyer, so they must be intelligent? I've never met her so I don't know. What I do know is that she isn't very quick on her fight when defending her opinions. Perhaps she's just uncomfortable in a TV studio many are. However, once you mix with people you'll realise that job title is not a measure of intelligence.

I love how you keep bringing up manipulating markets as if it's something you have against me, all it does is show up your ignorance of betting markets.

As others have said, you seem impressed by titles. It's no wonder you got taken in crowdfunding as per your thread in Chit Chat. If details were being harvested due to statements posted on here there would be hundreds of Nigerian Princes after your details.

Bless. He's a TV presenter, clearly that means TV presenters are more intelligent than lawyers? No?

It is a great picture, trilby. If Angela Merkel has a fault it is in taking people at face; the important thing is that negotiations proceed on the basis that Theresa May is lying when she says she wants a strong, stable EU. Happily, all 27 countries seem to be wise to her record.

Why would she be lying? It's in the interest of all to have a strong EU however badly it is run. If countries want to stay in a failing customs union then there's nothing more in our interests than making that work for them.

Andrew Neil is not just a TV presenter, he is also a renowned political reporter and inquisitor for several decades; prior he was also a Sunday Times editor. On the other hand Gina Miller is a lawyer - that is it; no wonder she was shown up by Mr Neil in his fiefdom and area of expertise.
