I also have a £5 exposure limit on my sports betting account so it will take some doing.

By:
To be honest Ted, the hard part is getting to the £200 mark, which for me is about 20 buyins. From there with good BRM I shouldn't ever have to deposit again.
|
By:
You play any cash chip?
|
By:
No mate. Played a handful of STT's on here today, and got it up to £80.33, so nearly doubled it since yesterday. May play a few more tomorrow.
It wouldn't take me long to pish it away playing cash - I am dreadful at it. ![]() |
By:
Nicked $120 bucks playing STT's for a few hours. Just as well cos lost a chunk on the horses.
Up to £117.51. God bless the exposure limits. ![]() |

typical sick ongame beat, but i do enjoy them 30 man games

They were providing a decent return for me until the table freeze issue kicked in. When I got moved to the final table of the game above, it shut down all my tables for over a minute. Given I was on the bubble of a $22 D2N at the time with blinds at 300/600 it (the table freeze) very nearly cost me 40 dollars.
The fact this has been going on for the best part of 2 months without even a comment from them, just shows the utter contempt they have for their customers. ![]() |
By:
Besides the table freeze, blind structure in STTs have always been an issue for me since the move and means bingo play and more frequent. I can crush STTs on other sites but not here. I asked for extended blinds or double stacks but was shown 2 fingers. Wulfman was the best player I came up against and he ditched it.
Says it all really. |
By:
Ah well, nicked another 100 bucks today from a dozen or so stts, so the £40 cake I got Thursday is now up to £176.
Tempted to just withdraw the lot. |
By:
In a game where the margins are getting smaller by the week, 30% **** makes the difference between being a winnning player and a losing player for many.
Makes up about 40% of my profit so far this year. ![]() |
By:
I guess it all depends on how you define "make it pay" as everyones situation is different. I play recreationally for money to pay for Christmas and holidays. Others play for a living. Some in Bulgaria could probably make a living wage a lot easier than someone living in Mayfair.
Take sexysandy69_ for instance who is generally assumed to be a bot. It has played 4078 stts so far in July, at an average stake of £8.33. Its ROI is 2.1% and total profit is £782. Okay you think, £782 isnt bad with another week of the month to go, and it is tax free. However chuck in 30% rake and it gets another £1200 or so on top of that. Its now earning over 2 grand a month. Then chuck in £1200 leaderboard money and its happy days. Likelyhood is the bad boy is on 40% rake, so what on the face of it looks like a profit per month of under £800, actually ends up being nearer to 4 grand. Whats worrying is that along with the other bot schummrich, theres now also a sexysandy68_, but the issue of bots is another matter completely. |
By:
I gave it a go full time after getting made redundant a couple of years ago, and it was never gonna work out. I have a dreadful work ethic, and I found it incredibly tedious.
I much prefer working full time and playing maybe 15 hours poker a week in little one hour sessions. Its still a good tax free supplementary income. |
By:
I thought you announced your departure chipfire? Is it that difficult to stay away ?
|
By:
No,as stated throughout the thread, I'm rolling my £41 rake up to £300, playing a few STT's every now and again, simply to prove how easily it can be done.
I'm sure you are more than capable of checking this via Sharkscope. I'm $328 in front playing a handful of games a day at low stakes over the last week, so not far to go. No point withdrawing £41 is there ? What will that get you ? |
By:
£41 will get you a fishing rod license, a mcdonalds breakfast, 2 scratch cards, a pint and a half decent dvd
happy days |
By:
It could also buy you 20 goes into tomorrow nights euro millions where 100 ppl from uk will become millionaires

I fancy going to Sweden for a weekend, and £300 should just about cover it.
A few people I know reckon I look and sound like this Wallander fella ( I dont solve murders obviously, but I am fairly misanthropic and mumble a lot ) so I thought it might suit me. |
By:
yes
|
By:
Barely played on BF this past week, I got about £230 in the account now. Thinking bout just withdrawing that and knocking it on the head.
Anyone know if they sorted the table freezing thing out yet when you move tables ? |

Does the Summer Slam promotion affect r@ke?
1 player point is .27 in rake, 70 points is $19.70. If you're on a 30% deal this gives you $5.91 RB. Summer Slam gives you $10 $15.91 in total meaning an 80% deal? Is my maths correct? The 700 and 1400 points weekly total still works out at 57% RB? This seems a great offer imo. |
By:
Yep, getting 200$ for making 1400 in a week is a great deal
