I think tonight is the last of the current series and I would like to say that its been one of the best promotions Betfair has run, with sensible entry fees and fanastic prizes.This has also been the tightest finish we've had to a league and any of the top dozen or so can clinch 1st prize. Good luck all in contention tonight. I don't know if there is any plans to continue on this theme, but I've certainly enjoyed the format and community spirit. So Betfair PR manager more of the same please. |

I agree with Grand Final, but the only reason I played in the tourney's was to win a prize at Lords all expenses paid etc. Please do not get rid of the Sports tickets it is the only reason I played.
What is the final league position please and pay outs. |

I must say that the Sports prizes offered by Betfair are fanastic and their hospitality is second to none. But not all poker players are attracted by various different sporting occasions. Therefore I would support replacing the Sports prizes with Live Poker Event Tickets, at least all players then have an interest in the event.
I am happy with the date and time of the promotion and can't see any reason to change. I'm opposed to a community tournament being run over a weekend, when the poker calander is already overloaded. I would suggest a tweaking of the points system to allow a player who finish's 4th to receive more points than someone who finish's 10th. eg: 1st 150 points 2nd 120 points 3rd 90 points 4th 70 points 5th 60 points 6th 50 points 7th 40 points 8th 30 points 9th 20 points 10th 10 points I'm happy for the bounty points to stay the same or as otherwhere suggested, tournament tickets could be awarded instead. I'm not sure what is intended as a Grand Final, though not opposed to the idea if it meant the top ten or so playing off for the prizes. I am opposed to giving double points in the final tournament as generally whoever wins the double points tournament is the most likely overall winner. |

Appollo made some good points regarding the point system, Howefer I am in favour of keeping the prizes as days out to sporting events. If you don't like the prizes Appollo why take part in the first place!!!!!

Thourally enjoyed this event and the radio show.
The sports prizes were great and would be really sorry to see them go. Although I never won anything! I'm all for larger starting stacks and slow blind level increases. Skill game :-) Wouldn't like to see a grand final as the league points system adds good incentive to play every week and should allow the loyal and more skilful players a better chance. I agree with appollo about the points system. There was to big a jump between finishing 4th and then the top 3. Also 4th got the same points as 10th which didnt seem right, especially as it was getting to be abit of a crapshoot nearing later stages. No need for double points or a grand final. Why spoil a good thing! Thanks to John and Betfair PR for their good work. Any idea when we can get the next one going? |

In response to Givethedogabone, I think the sports prizes are great in general, but not all the prizes are of interest to all players. For example a Man Utd fan probably wouldn't get the same enjoyment from watching an Arsenal game. AS we are all poker players,I'm sure all winners would participate in a Live Poker Event. I believe that some of the winners have taken the cash alternative.
I play the coomunity tournaments for the added value and for the community spirit. |

No fee nice. But then 5 rebuys for 60 mins with 6 min levels just looks bad to me. thats a regular rebuy mtt on here. If kept to dollar rebuys may even get chat. noticed regulars not rebought in and thats in first 5 levels. Thanks for putting something on though. |

What is the format for next week please. I felt the 1500 chips/3 min blinds was a bit too much/too quick ie after 50 mins re-buy for 1500 chips blinds 250/500 only move was all in How about 5000 chips 3 min blinds only one re-buy/add on. |

Sorry for whoever I sucked out on TT v AA in last 2 minutes of rebuy period. Too much of a turbo and expensive which is why lack of rebuys. To finish before champions league was not good. |

To make it more interesting how about dropping the rebuys to $1 for the next 2 weeks and splitting the added money between the players who have had the most and fewest rebuys after the first hour? |

Hi guys, back from Arizona and have just had a read of the last page or so re proposed changes etc. Here are my comments:
The sports tickets are fine (dont forget you can take a fairly generous cash alternative instead), although nothing wrong with an occasional big live event ticket being offered for one of the leagues. A compromise could be that the sports tickets remain for the league winner and the weekly bounty attracts an online ticket (+ maybe the previous weeks winner if the funds could stomach it). Also not sure about the need/idea behind having a grand final. Dont want to dilute the great prizes on offer for the 8 week leagues, but if the winner of each league also got a seat at a grand final for a winner takes all grand final (live or online) for something extra then no one is going to complain. League points definately need a tweak and nothing wrong with the breakdown as per appollo's suggestion above. Defintely not in favour of any double points weeks. Wed Night is fine, 8pm is fine. Should aim for it to finish around about midnight to be fair to most. Radio show is comedy gold, please keep it going as much as possible but I guess Kunku finds it a bit of a drag. |

Oh and tonights mtt looks like its a 1000 starting stack (not good), 6 min levels (better than last weeks), one hour $5 rebuys (not in favour), and a 3k add on for $5 (fair enough with regard to the rest of the game). Why the change? Please dont keep this format for the future leagues. It was fine before.
