Based on your feedback it has become clear that the current format of Q & A (What's on Your Mind) is not working.
So we are going to try something totally new.
We are on the hunt for 2 Betfair Poker Ambassadors from the forum who can join us at our next Q& A session (expenses paid) in mid July/early August. The ambassadors, who will be chosen by you, will attend the Q&A in person, be given a guided tour of our offices and will be treated to beer and pizzas. Their responsibility will be to form an agenda before the night based on the popular requests by you the forumites. This person will have the opportunity to put forward your views directly to our senior management and report back to the forum during and after the session. They will not be bound by constraints such as data protection and can report everything and anything that is brought up on the night to you.
In this way we hope that your views will be listened to in an open and honest setting with an independent representative attending.
I know there will be scepticism/paranoia amongst some of you but please try and get behind this initiative.

 i would suggest gnasher and chipfire ... both regularly contribute to debates on here and know the issues and both wouldnt miss you when it came to spelling out your shortcomings |

Its true I named and shamed in terms of collusion and account sharing, but the 6 shooter tickets I was entitled to under the terms and conditions of the promotion by being on MASTER status at the end of May, and I won the WSOP package on merit.
This hasn't " shut me up " however. I've very much stuck to my guns. Apart from the 6 shooter MTTS, I've done what I said I would do and played my poker elsewhere, while BF conduct an investigation into the allegations I've made. It was a condition of them agreeing to investigate my allegations, that I didnt comment on the interim findings, and wait until such investigation was complete before commenting further . This is why I haven't commented on the subject for a fortnight. I actually think it may be beneficial to send someone that isn't as cynical about the whole process as I am. |

Betfair - you dont need a forum meeting to tell you whats wrong - its clear cut.
Front line Poker Customer Services is diabolical. Your fault for allowing them not to know their clients, the poker product or to empower them to take decisions without having to bounce off half a dozen issues. Dealing with Fran, Matt, Milena, the entire affiliates team (who are fantastic), Michael the Germany Manager, Julian, Evgeny (Russian manager) etc ... I only have excellent praise. Ive been round your offices in Malta and met the various teams and I have no doubt you are extremely well organised ... until I pick up a phone or fire an email off to pokerinfo@betfair.com I also get well annoyed with the inconsistency in individual player promotions between countries - and that does get frustrating as the UK lads seem to have a tougher task. |

more I think about it loooollll poker site has been raped by half the senior management in recent years, money has been thrown away in the tens and hundreds of thousands, the staff in mid management and further down are constantly replaced and the site doesnt improve because it is down to the FEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT who think they know it all when they know very little. All the wasted money and potential millions lossed, and now they think a couple of quid on pizza and beer will do the trick. talk about desperation! anyone who is still at betfair nowadays is pretty much a low rake and not professional poker player. the people who could seriously advise and make a difference have left long ago because you didnt listen before. how many people said they did not want the move to ongame? surprise surprise the greed of a few and a brown envelope and the switch was made.

As to ambassadors, I would like to know something about the people we chose, so perhaps on another thread all posters who would like to represent us could tell us how old they are, what is their job if they play just recreational, whether they play poker for a living , what is their wish list for Betfair and why we should nominate them. At the moment is just seems that the ones who shout loudest on here are to represent us, when the quieter ones would maybe be better. |

I agree with you that there should be one each representing pro and recreational players as there wishes can be very different. I play on betfair2 under sufferance as the only reason why I do is the promotions and it is supposed to be an easier site. I much prefer ipokers skin for the graphics and those things that we are always asking betfair for. IN CASE BETFAIR HAS FORGOTTEN WHAT WE ASKED FOR Waiting lists Find a player Country of origin 6 max cash - it took you a year ! Better note taking, it still stops you typing Better histories, ipoker history is in colour and nearly full page so you can understand the play much more easily Better graphics, ipoker has 'badges' that you can customise, much better that the avatars on ongame that you cannot chose - how can I have a male avatar? Players put their country flag on them, easier to see where they are from. If you do not chose avatars on ongame, and I do not, you are presented with a dull boring screen. I often switch over to ipoker just because I miss the cheerful graphics. I know this is heresy to serious players, but hey ho I am a woman, what do you expect  On screen help, like ipoker Filters, like ipoker No disconnections Promotions that do not descend into a farce. Betfair, you really could not organise a p1ss up in a brewery. I have been a manager loads of times and have had my own small businesses, if I had staff like you I would have sacked them years ago. Decent customer services. Many of your customer support are good, but they are let down by quite a few rotten apples, some of whom do not understand poker and your product, unforgivable. I could go on, but I am playing poker and my computer is ancient and does not like multi tasking and is freezing up on me.If, after a year of us moaning about the above and all you have done is introduce 6 max cash, then I think you have to change to another skin. Ongame is the pits. Keep the players, just give us a different screen. |

well said annie. Giving a couple of chosen ones some pizza and beer just sounds like a publicity stunt to me. Well I reckon it would take a person of the highest intelligence to convince anyone this is anything other than a publicity stunt. They know EVERY single gripe (lots of posts to prove it but for now just read Annies) so how does having the Klup there make even the SLIGHTEST bit of difference to their answers. |
