Thank you for contacting bet365 Live Chat. An advisor will be with you shortly.

You are now chatting with Mark T.

Mark T: Hello, welcome to Live Chat. How may I help you?

Danny: I have not been paid my withdrawals yet. Why not?

Mark T: One moment please.

Mark T: Do you mind continuing to hold while I look into this for you?

Danny: I guess I will have to. Bet365 used to be a reputable site. Nothing, but problems these days. Such a ** company.

Mark T: Please be advised that a bank wire transfer will take between 2 to 5 working days to clear in your account.

Danny: I know

Danny: **ing hell.

Mark T: The withdrawal was made on 26/01/2010 and the 27/01/2010.

Danny: Are you sure about that?

Mark T: As such 5 working days have not elapsed.

Danny: Mark are you sure about that?

Mark T: These are the correct dates.

Danny: Because I am staring at my screen with a withdrawal on the 25th that hasn't been paid out.

Mark T: One moment please.

Danny: Usual 365**

Mark T: The withdrawals are from the dates previously mentioned, 26/01/2010 and 27/01/2010.

Danny: Are you some sort of**?

Danny: R u not listening to what I am telling you.

before you start on me azi- i ran my first company when i was 18 and have had up to 150 staff underneath me. I also had a rather large customer services/complaints team. If a customer complains in the way you did your complaint would be dealt with and you would be warned against your conduct with a member of my staff. being abusive to a member of my staff in this manor would not just be left and if you spoke to a senior member of staff in this way your account would simply be closed. Customers like you are not needed

there is a right way to complain to get things done and a wrong way. you chose the second option

I will educate the whole day through if I have to.

I had my own company when I was 16. Left Grammar school after my GCSE's with top grades to do this. Big deal?! I don't want blow smoke up my own arse like others on here. I have achieved things you could only dream of. I don't need you or any other person who isn't close to me to know this.

Everything you have just wrote is cack Aristonandon. Anyone with any clue in customer services knows that the customer is always right. You never allow your staff to alienate your customers.

"being abusive to a member of my staff in this manor would not just be left and if you spoke to a senior member of staff in this way your account would simply be closed. "

I broadly agree with your points, but I don't see why it is "okay" to be abusive to a junior staff member and not to a senior one. In my opinion it is worse, as the junior guy is just doing as he is told and has no authority to change anything anyway?
Report aristonandon February 1, 2010 4:05 PM GMT
agree totally and was not meaning to imply it is ok to speak to anyone in such a way. a junior member of staff wont have any authority to close accounts etc so i was meaning to say if you spoke to someone further up the chain they would deal with you differently.

a bully deals with junior members of staff like this and wouldnt speak to a supervisor or manger in this manor.

i actually like the way this person dealt with him. when he got overly abusive they ended the conversation which is the correct way to deal with an abusive client.

I like how many people can only see the abrupt part of this (the bit where I make things happen). In most things that happen in life there are a chain of events that happen for things to esculate to a certain point.

On this specific topic you can take what you want from it, but there's only two main points.

1) You can be of the view that I am a loud-mouthed, rude man who has no care or concern for others.

or

2) You can think that this guy has lost his temper because he has been treated inappropriately by someone that is meant to be providing a service. He is standing up for his rights.

'Treat people how you'd like to be treated' is a comment that has been slung about by some people on here. That's probably my main thinking behind any action I take in life. I would expect the same treatment from someone if I had been rude, unhelpful and ignorant towards them when I am payed to do the exact opposite.

You reap what you sow.

if anyone's ignorant in that exchange it's you.

here are the possibilities from that as I see them:

1. this online support chap is, for some reason known only to himself, lying to you about the difference in dates.

2. the support chap is telling you exactly what he can see and there's either an error in the dates, some delay between your request being made and their clearing system registering it, or you've made a mistake.

which is the more likely?

now - who's being ignorant again? (and if it helps you work out who is who in this exchange, it's paid not payed) lool

Ultra polite and professional!

You mean in the way that he managed to get the facts wrong first time around and then after being prompted to check he has got his facts straight he then comes back to you and tells you he is right and then when you tell him specifically where he has got it wrong he tells you that you are wrong.

There's nothing polite and professional about that. What that is is someone that is incapable of doing their job properly and someone that is out of their depth when it comes to handling complaints.

You have made the big mistake of getting involved in something you don't understand Dibble. If you had the work experience and the life experience then you would be able to understand what is going on.

If you have ever worked in the industry you would know that this is a common scenario of mis-information. All the employee has to do is acknowledge that the information that he has given out has the possibility of being incorrect. He doesn't have to take what I say as the gospel truth. That's not how our industry works. No-one is trustworthy. However what he needed to do was investigate what I was saying to the point that he could either confirm that I was right or wrong. Unfortunately he didn't take that opportunity and decided on the spot for whatever reason that I am lying.

With you though Dibble, like most others that have tried to challenge me on this thread, the only thing that you have managed to pick up on is grammar and spelling. Maybe it's because you are clueless. Go figure.

I earn 24k a year. Not a lot in some peoples eyes, but I live a comfortable, fulfilling life.

Success to me is being true to myself mainly because you come across so many liars and people that will make out that they are something they are not. I have respect and love from the people that matter the most to me in my life. I am proud to be able not be a hypocrit like most people. For instance being against my views in what I percieve to be the right way to treat customers in a customer service situation, but they feel it is quite alright to be racist. I can never be caught out with anything like this because every action that I take I can give good reasoning for and I never waive from my original view as it is what I believe is right in the first place. Not many people can say honestly say this.

I have won plenty of four-figure poker tournaments, beat Vinnie Jones at texas hold-em, played football for Wimbledon FC, losed a proffessional 8-ball pool match to current World Champion Phil Harrison, ran my own business at the age of 16, been abroad on too many occasions to mention, driven a Porsche 911, managed other peoples businesses for them from the age of 18, survived two knife attacks, been fortunate to have a brother who served 12 months in Iraq, mentored hundreds of colleagues. lol ok. It just seems strange that a pro pool player makes a point of saying that he lost a match against a fellow pro.
Report azertyioup February 11, 2010 2:40 PM GMT
I was on the pro tour for a season. Played the likes of Mick Hill, Ben Flack, Keith Brewer amongst others. Names would only mean something to people that play or watch pool on the rare occasion Sky have it.

Threads gone on too long now. Not sure what point i'm trying to make any more.

I used to play the circuit years ago. I just thought i might know you, but if youre under 40 i probably dont.
Report azertyioup February 11, 2010 2:56 PM GMT
Ahh I see. Were you on the circuit before the World rules came in?
Report garybet. February 11, 2010 2:58 PM GMT
Yeah well before. Me and Brewer started out at about the same time.
Report azertyioup February 11, 2010 3:01 PM GMT
Ahh. He's a good egg is Keith. Seriously hindered himself over the past few years being heavily involved in organising the Super Tour. Still quality on his day though. I think he made the Quarter Finals of the World Championship last year?
Report garybet. February 11, 2010 3:09 PM GMT
I dont follow the pool much anymore, but back in the day Brewer was the man he must have won more tournies than anyone else in the country.
Report azertyioup February 11, 2010 3:12 PM GMT
Were you apart of the recent Senior Tour that was on? I know there were a few blasts from the past in there.

If that crappy list is the height of your achievements then no wonder you are an angry soul.

You earn buttons for the hours you work, you have won a few piddly poker tournaments, and you weren't good enough to make it as a pro pool player. But you can speak to people as though they were something you trod on!

Laughable.

You really are a jealous fool aren't you. People like you don't even know you're alive. If you concentrated on getting the most out of your life then perhaps you might not feel the need to take your inadequecies out on me.

Again though Charwell you are displaying some ugly traits in pretending to understand something that you have no idea about. Most proffessional pool players work for a living too. This is down to the pathetic prize money available. The World Champion would barely get £10,000 for his troubles so you can now see that it is not feasable to make a living from pool alone. There are so many top-class players out there that scrap for the little that's on offer I had to make a choice whether I wanted to pursue it or not. I chose not to, but it's just one of the many things that I have achieved in my life that I am proud of and I have no regrets.

Stop being sour and get out there and do something with your life.

:) Azert!

I certainly do not feel inadequate and have lived, and live, a very fine life thanks. Unlike you I don't feel it relevant to list some two bob bit achievements. Suffice to say I certainly don't feel inadequate enough to berate some poor soul for a slight delay in transferring tuppence ha'penny in time! This thread highlights who has a chip on their shoulder.

If you cannot see your own failings then I am not going to waste any more time in trying to get you to consider how you treat people.

Please don't apologise for pretending to understand something you have no life experience in once again!

Guesser.

Yeah, you're right - I have no experience of belittling staff for $50 poker withdrawls. I withdraw from my account in denominations of thousands and let the standard 4 days bank transfer take its course. Case closed big man.
