Don't want to sound greedy, but would be nice if the monthly leader boards were worth something. I'm not overkeen on 15 minute blinds (even tho think I have done best in them) but do think the nights flagship mtt tourney should have this structure.

I don't play here any more because you do not visibly display a commitment to handling collusion and **ing. This is the same attitude that was taken by absolute and ultimate, guess what happened to all the customers on that site?

What are you going to do about the repeated reports of collusion?

Why in all the time I have been on Betfair have I never seen one post that said collusion was detected and refunds issued for an incident on Betfair?

Everyone who reads this forum regularly will be able to point to multiple statements that your main competitors have dealt with this kind of **ing openly and fairly. Why can you not do the same?

Your liquidity is an on-going problem, do you think having a reputation for allowing **s to prosper will do anything to resolve this situation?

I also am in the ever growing group of people who think that you won't do anything as a result of this Q&A, I dare you to prove me wrong.

Due to the Data Protection Act and Betfair Security, we cannot answer any questions regarding collusion. Please be reassured that we are acting vigorously to maintain the integrity of Betfair Poker.

COLLUSION is such a inoffensive word! what we are really talking about is people working together to ** and STEAL money of other players and you betfair allow this to happen. In the real world that would be crime!

My 5 eggs worth...

1) Collusion is definitely your main issue at the moment, it is blatantly going on and seems mainly from your emerging market countries. If you do not address this then the big rakers will go elsewhere. I personally have had 3 refunds from pokerst@rs with the player names included when I had no idea I had been colluded against. Compare this to your approach and surely you can see why people are getting angry?

2) Awful customer service, anytime I have had a problem the person I have to speak to knows nothing about poker or the product you offer. When there are problems in the evening when all your major tournaments are happening there is never anyone from the poker team there. This is unacceptable and needs sorting!

3) So many broken promises. From leaderboards to tournament schedules to collusion to software improvements, we have been lied to about them all. You promise one thing and then deliver another. This just makes people disillusioned and makes them play elsewhere.

4) Ridiculous negative PR execises like putting 100 Scandi's at the last minute in a satellite with a big overlay. If you cannot see why that drives people mad then you are blind!

5) A promo which actually favours or even treats UK customers evenly. It seems every promo is favourable to your emerging market customers and yet UK customers should be your core customer base and yet you keep treating us like **e!

The weird thign is they have these question and answer sessions which are obviously just a marketing exercise to make people think they are listening. They have had them before and didn't listen then. Furthermore anyone with half a brain can see what Betfair needs to do to improve it!

I think the person to person transfer is probably not going to happen. You can get all sorts of money laundering isssues through it. I think st ars and FT are probably not that bothered about possible legal issues as they continue to let in US players.

Has anyone mentioned collusion yet? I was reading 2 plus 2 today and two more people were named as "colluders" at cash tables here. Again when I get on poker tracker, they have never played a big pot together when I have sat at the table. This seems to be a common theme.

You'd think if you were colluding together you'd arrange to have a big all in every so often when it was AK vs JJ/QQ, or flush draw and overs vs overpair. That way people wouldn't be so suspicious about you. But no, bf seems to breed particularly stupid colluders.

I expect that you'd probably find them folding losing hands way more often than average against each other too, but I haven't got access to that data. But bf should have access, and if I can pick up collusion with a few hundred hands of incomplete data on poker tracker, why can't bf with hundreds of thousands of complete hands?

Why have seperate SNG leaderboards? Pathetic money for 6-9 seat SNG, heads up leaderboard prizes not even worth winning. Heads up return to leaderboards as they were for years and also include D2N. After all cake on D2N is highest on the site.

much the same as many of the above, but I could never complain if I didnt try to contribute:

1. Regular steady-state MTT schedule, from $1 right through to the high rollers.

2. Work to steadily increase GTDs of the above MTTs and not drastically chop them because the GTD wasnt reach once.

3. Higher % of regular speed MTTs, plus a fair amount of deeper stack MTTs, instead of all Sooper Turbots etc.

Run a 10 seat gtd superturbo sat (like the one you ran for the old 18k)to the 10k turbo please. If you could run these sats for the 12k and the 5k turbos too all the better.
Don't get rid of the software .

I would love to see omaha hi/lo cash and mtts. This is a dream game for you betfair as with all the split pots where stacks get it in you make a ton on cake, its a grt game for multi table cash players too as it can be played almost for the cake back alone.......HORSE , i would love to that too.played so bad by so many still.

I used to play all my poker with Betfair.

Hardly played for nearly a year. Moved to full tilt.

What might make me come back?

Normal 6 and 9 STTs which start without having to wait for ages. just 10 and 20 bucks a time will do. I like to play for an hour or two of an evening with 2 games in play at the same time. I can't 'afford' to sit around for 1/2 an hour waiting for the games to fill.

I REFUSE TO PLAY TURBOS.

Promotions that I can benefit from WITHOUT HAVING TO PLAY 18 HOURS a day.I stopped even reading the pop ups because I know they were "not for me".

You need to increase traffic.

Lower the house fee to 5% on STT - the punters will pour in.
Fee free nights...or even 'happy' hours.
Win a STT..get the next entry fee free.

There are endless possibilities.

Betfair as a betting platform 'broke the mould' in offering better value to the punters.

Betfair Poker needs to do the same.

LOWER YOUR MARGINS AND INCREASE YOUR TURNOVER.

I've mostly stopped using BF, as there simply isn't enough traffic. I'm only a small stakes player, you might have 1 or 2 9 seat 10/20c tables running when busy - usually 0 tables.
V* has a dozen when quiet, 2 dozen+ when busy.

There's something wrong with your software - it's slow, resource heavy - and loses connections at the drop of a hat - when another poker client running on the same PC at the same time is miraculously unaffected.

None of the promotions ever seem to apply to me (I'm not interested in major tournaments or poker pros.). I did make the effort (was it last Xmas?) to collect points for a T shirt (yes I'm that sad). It finally arrived in July after a dozen or so email complaints.
So should you have a similar promotion this Xmas - I'm just going to ignore it.
Other sites seem to have simpler, reliable promotions.

to add a couple more from me:

Hand for Hand on the Bubble

Registration right up until start time (not fussed about late reg, but closing it a minute before is mad)

Same as JTG mentioned above, promos that benefit everyone, not just the monster rakers

betfair in claiming to listen shocker.

1. ditch the awful software you've bought and replace it with something better. the old crypto or mansion software would be a good start.

2. regular $50-$100 mtts with 15 minute blinds that start early enough in the evening that I can play and go to work the next day

3. collusion. if no-one has faith, no-one plays.

4. multi-table stts.

5. some decent customer service who actually know the product?

I won't be playing much again until you replace that horrid software.

When: 29 Oct 09 20:29
Everybody is asking for software changes. So once again betfair is it true that the current software is so bug ridden it is almost impossible to implement new features. If true surely the software should be scrapped. Not ending D2N as soon as everybody has cashed costs betfair thousands a day alone. No rematch facility in heads up games also costs lots of money. The leaderboard prizes are also giving money away that nobody wants also. So either have higher prizes or scrap them. Betfair poker through their laziness loses over a million dollars a year in revenue.

The software is very good, only change the dimensions please, so that 4 tables fit nicely on my screen. Do not bring in people and their kids gurning at me or gay monkeys. They are rubbish.

Also agree with why not bring in cash autorebuy and up the minimimums on cash tables?

And evolution vs revolution is just so obvious in multis, why not do it?

I have been really impressed with the innovative promotions and improvements to the site that have been made since Betfair set up their stand alone site. Whilst there are still minor tweaks that could be made to make things even better I think all concerned deserve a heary pat on the back. I think what we'd all really like to know is what makes Bruce Stubbs and his team so special. What is it in his approach to work and life that sets him apart from the rest of us.
Any advice would be great.
Well done Bruce!

Dibble you are really that clueless aren't you. Some people play just one table at a time, as soon as the game ends they register for another. It does not take a brain surgeon to work out say you have three hours to play poker the sooner the games end the sooner you can register for another. If a game lasted an average of 20 minutes instead of 19 you lose revenue.

7. Get the old poker skin back or make it an option to players to
change wich skin they whant.

8. change the super turbos sng and MMT from 2 min leves to 3 min
