bigfoot? bigknee more like
By:
haha he completely folded, why didn't he even attempt the takedown when he was against the cage, or just move at all

By:
C'mon Stefan, don't get KO'd. Hopefully he's over whatever medical condition he had. He looked huge at the weigh-in.
By:
I think it was his enlarged heart, doctors told him he probably shouldn't fight anymore. leaning struve, he's put on a lot of weight since his last fight. he did his camp at the blackzillians which makes me a bit more confident. got a bit on fight ends by ko/tko at 1.79
By:
nogs taken some damage in that round
By:
yeah got wobbled twice, struve took a bit too, but stefan looks more diverse so far
By:
wow nice escape there by struve
By:
struve's taking a page out of McGreegor's book with those front kicks to the stomach
By:
nogs taken some heavy kicks to that left leg as well
By:
gotta be struve, he pulled away at the end
By:
unanimous
struve looks ungainly on the floor but he seemed to escape easily enough |
By:
Struve has always had a good ground game.
Nice work Stefan, got my treble. Maia, Silva, Struve paying 6.4 Missed my other acca paying 32/1 by one: Alcantara, Alves, Cavalcante, Maia, Silva, Struve |
By:
GJ with that treble, in hindsight i should of known cavalcante was a bad pick he has some of the worst cardio in the sport, I hesitated because cummins got ko'd by a worse(on paper) striker than feijiao
I don't have a clue who any of these next 2 are, there's so many ultimate fighter shows I gave up trying to keep up |
By:
Yeah Cavalcante was tired, he just needed to be a little fitter and he would of had the KO. Cummins' cardio and wrestling won him the fight but his face was a mess.
Not getting involved with the next two fights. Rua vs little Nog should be good. No bet in the rowdy vs pit bull main event. Can Correia make it out of the first round (3/1)? Rousy talking it up like she doesn't want the quick finish, probs means a win inside 30sec. lol |
By:
I don't think rousey will go more than 1 but don't like the prices at all. will be very strange to see brazillians cheering for an american
By:
hope the Rousey fight lasts more than 60 seconds
By:
well rousey's beaten better fighters than bethe in 15 seconds so I'm not confident on that either lol
By:
wild round, hoping shogun can regroup
By:
im on fav @ 1.55
By:
I think he did enough to win the 3rd, nog was too inactive. shogun 29-28 imo
By:
yay:D
By:
back in a bitr just walking home
By:
shogun wins by decision, like their first fight.
good call razz |
By:
PMSL correia is going to tire herself out before the fight begins if she doesnt calm down
![]() |
By:
I'm not sure if its because they were fighting each other but i thought shhogun looked better than he has in ages, more composed with a good output.
By:
wow... rousey is unstoppable
By:
owned! wow i didn't even see what happened till the replay lol
By:
total mismatch
By:
well one thing i didn't expect was ronda by KO...like an actual KO. extremely rare in wmma
By:
so rousey now has knockout striking power as well as olympic medallist standard grappling
absolutely ridiculous |
By:
and she's in movies
By:
Rousey vs anyone except cyborg is a mismatch likely, they didn't even interview Bethe lol, she was just their for the biggest payday of her career
By:
I was about to hedge like 20 parlays with rousey as the last pick, but never got the chance, good end to the night for me. wasn't the best Card but maybe we've just been spoiled with all the great fights lately.
you guys come out ok? |
By:
Apologies, football season back started for me yesterday so not got on till this morning.
I did Maia and Shogun in a double, 1/2 and 8/15, and aftertiming maybe but Ronda was 9/4 for a KO/TKO vs 3.1 on here. Submissions was 2/5 vs 1.68 on here. I had a cheeky bet on her to win by KO/TKO at 9/4 and was more than happy to see her refuse the take down or let her stand up when she hit the mat first time. A different league altogether though and now her stand up has improved immensely to be just as good as anyone in the division, I don't think anyone will stop her... ever !! |
By:
yeah I can see her being undefeated easily. I mean who else is legitimately KO'ing fighters in women's mma. She just wants to beat her opponents at their own game it seems like. Nice catch on the Ko line. I was going to load up on ko at 3.75 a few days before the fight then hedge with rousey by sub at 1.44, those were the only 2 outcomes, but I overloaded myself with bets for this card and missed out there.
This is the card for this weekend BELOW. I'm going to watch some tape on Johnson vs Dariush, as I quite like Johnson at this price. I think he's a potential champion in the making. Main Card (FS1, 10 PM ET) Ovince Saint Preux vs. Glover Teixeira Beneil Dariush vs. Michael Johnson Sam Alvey vs. Derek Brunson Timothy Johnson vs. Jared Rosholt Chris Camozzi vs. Tom Watson Ray Borg vs. Geane Herrera Preliminary Card (FS2, 8 PM ET) Oluwale Bamgbose vs. Uriah Hall Sara McMann vs. Amanda Nunes Willie Gates vs. Dustin Ortiz Sirwan Kakai vs. Frankie Saenz Preliminary Card (Fight Pass, 6:30 PM ET) Chris Dempsey vs. Jonathan Wilson Roman Salazar vs. Marlon Vera Anthony Christodoulou vs. Scott Holtzman |
By:
I'm away at a festival until Sunday now so I'll miss the fights on sat. Be careful if your betting on Uriah hall, He has to be one of the flakiest and most unreliable fighters I've ever seen, sure he could win by ko at any moment or he could coast to a lacklustre decision loss to someone he was supposed to steam-roll. He's one of the few fighters currently on my blacklist. GL everyone.

next ufc card on august 23rd. really looking forward to holloway/olivera this is a very interested fight, Magny stepping in at short notice against silva makes for some interesting bets. Glover looked good on the weekend, although I thought he looked extremely slow. that's the only fight i;ve seen so far for last weeks card. dissapointed in johnson, apparently he was very tentative with his striking. any of you guys see it?
Main Event: 145 lbs.: Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira Co-Main Event: 170 lbs.: Erick Silva vs. Neil Magny FOX Sports 1 Main Card (9 p.m. ET): 170 lbs.: Josh Burkman vs. Patrick Cote 155 lbs.: Chad Laprise vs. Francisco Trinaldo 155 lbs.: Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Tony Sims 115 lbs.: Valerie Letourneau vs. Maryna Moroz |
By:
Haven't posted in a while, been really busy lately, I was dissapointed in the holloway olivera injury, ruined a potentially great fight after a couple mins. erik silva looked like crap(quite possibly from the new testing procedures) as he looked noticeably less muscular than he used to, and it showed in his results. Cote was super impressive as well tko'ing burkman who'd never been finished by strikes up until then in his career if im not mistaken.

Looking forward to Mir vs Arlovski, maybe 5 years too late but still expect one of them to get banged out.
Not sure what Manuwa is doing against Rumble... can only see that going one way and I fear for Manuwa. Rumble is a beast. One bet I will be having is Ross Pearson @ 7/2 with Ladbrokes. Look at Pearson's record, he has never had two losses on the bounce and whilst there is a first time for everything, I'm happy to take 7/2 that it don't. I've watched a few of Paul Felder fights and he looked on the up. UFC 182 vs Danny Castillo was a great ending and he didn't let himself down against Edson Barboza in his last fight either. Go back six months and would Pearson be 7/2 still ? The simple answer is no. And whilst Pearson was garbage against Evan Dunham, hopefully he can get back on track here. Having said all that.... I've backed a few value bets this year at big prices on the UFC and I don't think any has landed !! Value is one thing, but they still have to win the fight !! ![]() |

hey WA, yeah, looking forward to mir/arlovski too, 2 former champions from a different era competing for a title shot, great comeback stories. I think I prefer that it's happening now, arlovski was just starting that losing streak that made many people believe his time as a contender to be dead and buried. agree it won't last the distance, im leaning arlovski, he should have a decent speed advantage, and also I beleive a cardio advantage. Mir will struggle to take him down in the later rounds imo if it gets that far, always the sub threat from mir though, I believe he's up there werdum/jacare in terms of sub skills.
Rumble/Manuwa is an explosive fight, but yeah rumble is eemingly better everywhere, possible manuwa can clinch with rumble, and try to tire him out, but unlikely. odds to steep to play for me. Pearson could be a good bet yeah, felder could come out swinging and ross is a great counter striker. Felder has a more diverse striking game, he looked great against barboza. I got felder by finish ultimately. As far as value i like rivera @2.1 he really impressed me against faber, who was getting beat to every punch until the eyepoke i think it was. harder to get good value on the outright lines these days. I see more and more with some of the props however. |
