I needed Shogun to win for a five fold, but I have to admit I knew he lost and it was the correct decision. Hendo done more clean work in rounds 1,2 & 3. Shogun won his rounds well, but I knew he needed a KO to win. Gutted.

R1 10-9 Hendo R2 10-9 Hendo R3 10-9 Hendo R4 10-9 Shogun R5 10-8 Shogun But it would appear all 3 judges scored the last only a 10-9 to Shogun. Wow. if ever there was a 10-8 round that was it. brutal. he took him down and got full mount 6 times, reigned down punches, elbows, hammerfists and tried to work two submissions. awesome from both fighters. Calling it...best fight of all time. heart, committment, abilty too recover, top class brutal striking, wrestling and some nifty bjj thrown in. |

clearly not enough
12 minutes of a 25 minute fight spent on his back covering up to avoid getting his face pummelled, yet he still wins. He's just fortunate enough that hamburger boy was knackered by that point. |

hendo landed some brutal shots over and over in the 1st half of the fight, shogun didn't inflict as much damage

he wasn't lucky the pace of the fight and the damage taken by both fighters would of tired anyone out shogun won round 3 clearly

Cech u aint got a clue son, 5 round fight, Rua was lucky to survive early rounds, it makes no difference Hendo covered up late on because he had the fight won

if you give hendo a 10-8 round then what do you give Shogun for the last??? a 10-7? you'd have too surely.
Shogun actually fought back in those rounds...hendo did nothing in the final round. 10-9s are fair unless you get a totally overwhelming round like the 5th. |

Exactly - Hendo did more damage in the first 2/3 rounds but Shogun was FIGHTING back in a FIGHT. LAst 2 rounds Hendo did absolutely nothing. Deserves no points.

10-7 is ridiculous shogun didn't do near enough effective damage for that hendo won the first 3 1 or 2 of them could be a 10-8

End of the 4th he was wobbling after Shogun tagged him a few times (uppercut I believe). A fitter man that Shogun would have finished him.

well you just said a fitter man would of finished a guy who's never been stopped before , ye he looked exhausted at end of round 4 , not quite as bad as shogun looked when he got dropped though,

for once i agree with ELG,i had it 10-9,10-9,10-9,9-10,8-10.
I didnt bet on it so its not my wallet speaking,didnt think hendo deserved a 10-8 really but the 5th round was 100% a 10-8 round too shogun for me. |
