Laugh They were just shy ones at first and now it's starting to roll you'll see.Cool

Pulkkinen (1st scorer of Finns)is not the only one there who already playing mens' league and he is definitely not 3rd and/or 4th liner in his team. Wait and see as soon as Armia are starting to shine - take a look at his tremendous shot. He will be drafted 1st round next summer that's for sure.

Another player to watch really closely is S.Vatanen. He is very strong offensive defenceman plays very good both sides of the rink. When Russians are starting to take penalties you'll see what he's capable of..the best blueliner in this tournament but have not shined YET because too little pp played by Finns so far this tournament.

1-1 after 1st is a good start I think.

Great result for Wild , trailing 4-5 with 35 secs to go and they end up with 2 pts  Grin

Ducks and C'nuks both in front - I'm getting tired, lets hope they both go on to win - and Finland of course.

Wild's back-up goalie Theodore has taken some wins lately for them instead of Backstrom which has been kind of a suprise remembering also their backliner(blueliner as well) Zidlicky might be out maybe even the rest of the season.

A Finn goalie Ortio plays even better than against USA earlier. 2-1 for the Finns promising very impulsive 3rd period.

The Finns starting in 3rd with 5 on 3 pp so it's a gloden opportunity for them to make it 3-1. If not succeed, the momentum is on Russian side then. Impossible to go sleep now..Laugh

Only mistake I made was not betting on Finns to win in livebetting as they were trailing 0-1. The odds was huge then remembering they were underdogs even before the game started.

Drew, you really have nice catch on waiting.. Canucks and Ducks still leading after 2nd and the Finns leading by 2 goals 10mins left there. Silly

Lots of rough and tumble in the canucks, avs game.  Good to see a div game like this such high intensity.  Canucks looking stronger to me but as ever pens may have the final say.  Hoping refs let them play in the 3rd without too much intervention

Russians scored 2 goals in 2mins 3sec during 56.19 - 58.22 reducing the game 3-3. The first one was pure mistake by Pulkkinen as he was stealt the puck and he had to take a penalty. Russians scored soon after that on pp. The 2nd mistake was all by Vatanen in front of the own goal.

Before that pp chance it was all under control and the Finns had the puck handling on their side but it's easier said than done. Still hoping they will beat Russians.

Great call anyway ND especially with a 1.05 lay off available , just more evidence that it's never over in this sport.

Ducks not long to hang on now  Happy

TY, HAYDEN. I appreciate your comment. The pressure was huge on those young ones and its not easy to handle it even the oldies. The odds for the Finns was huge and I think it was a fair call too. They should have win it after leading less than 4mins left by two goals though. It was not just my stakes on the line but you guys as well and that makes it more hard to swallow.

At least Ducks did not spoil the night![;)]

Never worry about anyone backing your opinion ND - it was a very good call - shame I was juggling too many balls and hadn't even looked to see if it was in play.  But for your peace of mind, the bet was never going to break me Laugh

It seems to be one thing in common comparing to Team USA vs Team Canada what becomes the success of U20, Men & women WC/Olympic tournaments. After Team USA has managed to win the title Team Canada always gets its revenge immediately in the next tournament. That song remains all the same this tournament also as seen their QF-game tonight. Just watching not betting this time myself. Just thoughts.

I was wondering also huge price on Isles had tonight against Flames who plays a div game day after tomorrow..Not betting on that one either though. NYI leading by 2-0 in the half way 1st period. I guess it's time for bookies from now on taking Isles more seriously, after all finally. I bet they will do that the next games on tournee (against Oils & Avs).[;)]

ND - I'm cursing the Isles game.  Got busy at work and when I got back to laptop was a couple of minutes before faceoff, I wouldn't take the 4 on here to win outright - was holding out for 4.2 Sad

Also backed Carolina ML Cry

Drew - I must know how you feel with the Isles. I hate Pants games this season - they surprise often when you expected that the least. It does not even matter if Vokoun is out there like this time when Clemmensen was playing. Thanks to mr.Hayden I have learnt to be alert with those div games anyway. Shocked

What's the view on the late game guys ?

Sharks are starting to show more consistent signs of late and I can actually visualise the day when I start getting involved in their games again , they should come out firing tonight for this " statement " game and look to revenge that 1-6 reversal last time they met , Loungo is looking solid again and Canucks continue to look a great outfit tbh and top of the power rankings this week is well deserved.
Got a feeling Sharks will be hungry tonight and could upset Canucks but sticking to swerving them for another week and see what happens.

Another Islanders goal ffs - they are going to make me pay.

I just couldn't oppose the Cannucks at the moment HAYDEN.  Confidence is a huge factor (imo) and I just couldn't be against them until they hit the skids.  Its the one game tonight that I was always going to swerve.

Yes Schneider's starting tonight , there's some massive games in the Western conference this week and it's more difficult than normal to try and work out the targetted games for some of these teams , some real 4 pointers.

Got a feeling for Sharks but just watching with no bet myself , good luck guys  Happy
