Reds and Rangers both came into the ninth thinking the job was done. No intensity, no focus on what they were doing, just expecting the win to happen.

Alfredo Simon isn't exactly a great closer. If they can keep it to one, more strange things could happen. Texas will probably go down in order though.

top of the order isn't it? I've lost track.

Yeah. Simon's WHIP is over 1.5 so he'll always give you a chance. Texas backers need two to get on, so that Hamilton can get to hit with RISP.

That's twice this season that the Reds have lost with enormous ninth inning leads. The first loss in Atlanta was 90% down to Dusty's decison making (or lack thereof). Again last night he was caught out reacting to events rather than anticipating, but it's hard to blame him completely. Anyone who has watched Cordero regularly this season will know that his NL leading save total belies a very shaky closer.

1/4 for Cliff Lee on his Rangers debut. The shortest price in MLB this season?

I have to oppose Texas at that price. Chris Tillman has never really showed his potential in the majors, but his work in the minors has been exceptional, especially since he was sent back down in May.

Also like the overs in Milwaukee where the dire Jeff Karstens meets the dreadful Dave Bush.

I was thinking the same think SM, that is too short of a price in any game. Cliff Lee debuts and may not be able to handle the Texas heat...

I only bet on MIL atm - they should the better bating team and in PIT lineups are 3 rookies.

I see the Bloke Who Lumps on Ubaldo, is trying to lump on Cliff Lee tonight (100k at 1.26). Again, interesting to see how much gets matched.

cliff lee will make baltimore look silly, texas really are free money but i was hoping for 1.35ish.

I think every pitcher made Baltimore look silly this season but the price is way too short for a debut...

How is Jeff Suppan still employed by a baseball team? He's making the Astros look like the '27 Yankees.

Very good price, what bookie?
By:
SM
When: 11 Jul 10 00:39
Not a good price imo. Small sample size and all that, but Lee has given up a 1st inning run in 5 of his 13 starts this season.
By:
SM
When: 11 Jul 10 00:42
Also, it's 4/6 with WHills.

Giants [:)]

It is the orioles and you would expect Texas' offense to jump on Tillman early...
By:
SM
When: 11 Jul 10 00:47
Also worth noting that in Lee's 13 starts for the Mariners they scored first only 6 times.

thanks sm, ive lumped on, mariners are pathetic offensively, texas good bats

Best of luck SwindonBoy.

Don't want to jinx him but Travis Wood is pitching superbly against the Phils so far, matching Halladay pitch for pitch.

You scared of this part of the order SB? I'll lay you something at the end of the inning if you like.
