Here's another stat for you - the Reds have won 9 straight extra innings games on the road dating back to June 2009.
By:
they lost one the other night didn't they tai????????
By:
well, to be fair, my point was % after the 8th inning, because the 9th has some special magic ALWAYS. I know once u are in extra innings, its almost a coin flip...
By:
Won 3-2 @ the Cubs in the 10th. Lost one in extras to the Phillies on June 29th, but that was at home.
By:
It was the cubs game I was thinking of, I remember the commentator mentioning the stat and must have thought the Cubs won. my mistake
By:
It's very difficult to obtain full statistics for tied games in the ninth inning, broken down into home and away teams so it's impossible to say. However, since being tied after eight effectively means you're in extras an inning early, the stats should be very similar to the extra inning statistics, particularly for a large sample size over a long period.

i'm finding these two late games impossible to predict?
hate the totals market but i think it could be overs in texas, and a tight one in la. might just back the rangers, think 1.66 is fair but feldman is pretty incocnsitent.. any thoughts? |

lead off triple giants

By:
What a ridiculous mistake from the Rockies, just knock it down and keep him to a single, don't miss it and let him get to third with no outs.

I phoned once, and we might as well have been speaking different languages.
I don't do much baseball betting here so my P&L in largely irrelevant so I'll keep it to myself. ![]() |

Baseball / PHI @ PIT : Match Odds (Listed) 02-Jul-10 00:05 02-Jul-10 03:02 -304.00
If that one had gone the other, you'd probably be alright. What went wrong there? Just larger stake and didn't come off? |

botl
didnt i see you asking someone to match you £680 on a anytime scorer bet in footy last night? |
By:
You did and I got it matched, and he scored the "offside" goal.

Don't give up chelsea just watch more baseball. its highly addictive and great for insomnia
By:
i told him they would win easy botl
![]() sorry chelsea |
By:
i forgot who the player was just remember thinking - fcucking hell thats a massive bet on a scorer market
unlucky with the "offside" though what odds did you get matched at? |
By:
I was on a great totals run, 7 in a row last week but been very up and down the past few days.
As mentioned up the thread, got the OAK/CLE one easily today, and was heading for a nice win on U9.5 on TB/MIN till it all came crashing down in the seventh. For me, totals in any sport are alright, but NBA totals are my personal favourite betting market of all time in any sport. |
By:
I remember that call Swindon
By:
yes mate me and swindon were both on phillies that night
just had £304 on them straight up and had no chance to trade out |
By:
About half at 7.8 and the other half at 8.
I layed Torres for a lot more 2.5-2.6 and backed Villa for more at 2.14 so I made a great deal on the market, just could've been so much better! |
By:
i lost 560 on here and 400 on spreads

Come on Rockies, one hit to finish it before the late games start. Anyone else got anything on the Rockies game?
By:
wow, you must have a massive bankroll, i only bet max 500-600 on match odds markets with a 3k bank
you do this for a living? |
By:
yes im on rockies
By:
I turn over about £200,000 a week on baseball alone so I do bet quite a lot. Been doing it for a living since 2003.
By:
yes NBK i am going to keep watching and betting untill my mlb.tv expires, i enjoy the game i think i could easily watch it without betting on it now i know more about how its played
no worries swindon my own fault for following ![]() |
By:
wow botl, do you bet on here or with books, or both?
By:
Books and the "other" exchange that is miles better than here. I'll take odds here when the price is good but that's not very often.

No nothing like £200,000 profit, but I win and lose about that in total per week, looking for a profit margin over the season of anywhere between 2-5%. High turnover, low margins, lots of bets, lower variance in the results.
