By:
I wish I'd layed it. Rockies my biggest bet of the night, went out with them 3-0 up and came back to 3-3.

That Ramirez for the Marlins seems to be on fire atm. He seems to be hitting for fun. I stand corrected if I am wrong though
Really liking the ESPN adverts with Reggie Miller and Pujols and the look backs, saw one earlier with some basketball player and at the age of 17 he was 7ft 4, he was massive. made me laugh |
By:
He's long since been regarded as one of the best players in baseball NBK; an unpleasant character by all account though.
By:
3-1 fla
this is not good |
By:
Utterly, utterly brainless from the Rockies.
You leave Street in to bunt against a 100mph pitcher when he's never had an at-bat in his career, when you've got any of your starting pitchers who could do a better job. Surprise, surprise, he strikes out on three foul bunts. |
By:
I see what you mean tai, great hitting stats and steals bases as well, could not find anything about his character - do tell

2 on for rockies

By:
have u seen the inside the park homer from NYY?
LOL if u tell me the Toronto player did it on pourpose i will believe u! |
By:
Two pitches later, inning over.
Still can't get over the stupidity of letting Street bunt - unless they're badly needing him to pitch the 10th of course. |
By:
whats the % of the home team winning when the score is tied in the 9th inning? surely its something like 80% wins..
By:
probably not
By:
Home team win percentage in extra inning games since 2000 is about 53.2%. Games tied after eight innings are probably very close to this percentage.
By:
fxxkin hell tai that was quick lol
By:
backed the dodgers at 1.6 and kemp goes deep next bat, love that
By:
Ok, thanks for the info. Really thought stats will be higher on home team. At least the market is ALWAYS very big on the home team at this stage (no matter the team difference rankings)
By:
The home win percentage in extra innings from 1957-2007 was 52.1% (someone else's statistics).
Did you get that Hanley Ramirez link OK NBK? No idea why they've stopped you being able to post full links on here. |
By:
@ Swindon, doom and gloom had plenty of the LAD after they went 1-0 down circa 2.8 - should have let it ride for a bit. my own fault for been a chicken
By:
yes thank you tai, interesting read seems the limelight went to his head a little. Always good to bring a player into line when that starts happening (in any sport)
By:
Manager Fredi Gonzalez was sacked recently, so it's obvious who came out on top there.
By:
Argh, almost a game winning double for the Rockies. One more hit now please....
Braves got one back too. |
By:
wd nbk, not sure who was laying 1.2 and above either with kuo and broxton coming in for them either, good value!!
By:
LAD game. what sort of muppet tries to steal home when up by 2 in the 8th??
By:
zamorano, here are some extra stats for you I've just looked up.
Since 2000, home teams are 1114-993 in extra innings (52.9% wins). In 2010, home teams are 48-57 in extra innings (45.7% wins). I said 53.2% since 2000 as I wasn't including the 2010 statistics. If the home team are extremely short odds in extras at the start of an inning, it's probably always a lay. |
By:
fantastic stuff botl, that stats have change my mind about extra innings...
By:
For God sake, umpire out to get Helton in Colorado. One of the worst strike calls I've ever seen leads him to hit into a double play. :(
By:
how many chances do the rockies want
By:
Did you see that strike one call? If you're calling that a strike, every game would be 0-0 after 25 innings.
By:
yeah seen a few shockers recently
By:
surely colorado will now make those stats right and lose in extra innings after market been clear fav on them
