Notice the Racing Post have done a pre season preview for the NHL, cant remember them doing one before.
Theyre going for a couple of 66/1 shots, Toronto and Los Angeles to surprise the bookies, plus Chicago to get over 105.5 points at 10/11. Thought about a few Divisional bets myself but unless you're really lumping on you're tieing up money long term at fairly tightish odds in most cases. |

Well you're still tieing up money long term if you're lumping on of course but what I meant to say was at least if you win you get a decent reward at the end of it, its along while to wait for something like £150!

A few of us tried to join last season curly tbh but it wouldn't allow access in the UK unfortunately , we even rang them to confirm it was not possible.

can understand the Leaf's as a longshot TAFM as the place will be buzzing at the moment although it looks like November before we see Kessel , have had some thoughts about how Leaf's season will start earlier in the thread and it's a great game to start live coverage imo.

After watching both TSN and Sportsnet's NHL Preview shows last night the experts consensus seems to be Philly or Pittsburgh coming out of the east and any of SJ, Chicago, Vancouver, Calgary or Detroit out of the west.
In the west those should be the top 5 and everything will depend on what happens in the playoffs. TSN believed the other three teams to make the playoffs in the west were Anaheim, St. Louis and LA. In the east they had Toronto and Ottawa missing the playoffs and Montreal squeaking in in 8th. |

just shows you benrik what you may get matched by accident , must be someone confused with blue and pink , at least they have the title of the worst value £3.50 of the season so far , you can imagine what late Sat night can be like now after the pub as JORDI discovered on more than one occasion last season.

I tryed with NHL center Ice at first then after a few weeks all european countries were cut off with full refund back, when they cut me and hundreds of others they said espn 360 will be covering NHL for the european viewers.

always difficult the opening week but i'm sweet on the Toronto buzz at the moment and in addition to Kessel have added steel throughout the squad , with an anticipated 200+ bets likely for me this season i've taken the view a small money line play on Leaf's won't do any harm , following a great pre-season they may just catch Habs at the right time , thought about playing the goals but the line is set at 6.5 and although I think there will be plenty of goals in Leaf's matches through the season it's probably wise to leave that market until seeing how Kessel's arrival influences the strategy next month. No betting fancies in the other 3 games tonight although it should be a thriller in Boston. note don't forget there's a double header at 5pm UK time live on ESPN America on both tomorrow and saturday , looks 4 good games played Sweden and Finland , here's a link for the October schedule if it helps , just add 5hrs for UK time.
