I was sure I'd posted on this thread before but apparently not. There's a thread on footie about him (he needs £250 asap!) and in his blog he admits he should stop betting on baseball. My favourite post of his, fwiw:
odwyer1980 Joined: 11 Jun 07 Replies: 404 20 Feb 08 13:32 Btw, I posted this message before I knew the kind of people who post on these type of forums. :-) I was too open with the dole remark which was a mistake. I guess that is the result of not posting on an internet forum for about 6 years prior. At least I found out quickly. I'll let you use your imagination by what "kind of people" I mean. What happened to tai btw? |

The First Major League Baseball Bettor To Go Broke Odds have the Betfair forum's O'Swyer Favored
Albeit he’s a small favorite to be the first Major League Baseball Bettor to find himself broke, of the Betfair forum has been instilled with that honor by the oddsmakers at Bookmaker.com, North America’s oldest established online gambling website. O'Dwyer would pay out $20 for every $10 bet. O'Dwyer was promoted to serve as undisputed fisherman of the Betfair forum after Schalke04 sudden retirement on August 22, 2010, and by Oct. 19, he was named the “official” mug of the Betfair forum. But O'Dwyer will face tough challenges up ahead. Baseball, after all, is a 50-50 game every season. “We can't forget that I did not have a good year last year. We don't have it figured out but, we know multiples win big” O'Dwyer said. At +200 odds, Quade is hardly huge favorite to be broke among the Betfair Forum clan. In fact, there are a total of 12 bettors all within a 6-and-a-half-point margin from one another in the category where Bookmaker.com is concerned. Although the six-and-a-half-point margin took fourteen forum topic pages and 3 days to explain and get everyone to agree om. Asked to comment on his odds O'Dwyer simply said, I don't understand the money line, it's a long story you see. |

http://centrecourttrading.blogspot.de/2011/12/john-odwyer-interview.html Have you been hit by the premium charge and how do you feel about it? I've never been hit with that. Not sure why. |
