Over one year old.
You can tell I was a newbie. |
|
By:
Didnt you say that you have been betting on it for like 10 years though??
A can tell you were a newbie to the sport though with your language... eg Tim Hudson (Atlanta Braves)... very much someone whos looking things up. A bit like a post saying ''you cant make money from football because if you back someone one week then Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd) will score 3 and win you the match and then the next match Pepe Reina (Liverpool) will make a mistake and lose you the lot! :^0 |

Squash - the overs is a 'public' bet. Because the overs is open-ended, people want to see a high-scoring game. The results for college football and arena football markets are similar to those found in the professional football and professional basketball totals market. In all of these leagues, the overs are overbet. We suggest that there is a clear preference for bettors to bet the over and the extent of the bias depends upon the volume of uninformed bettors to informed bettors and limits placed on bets in these markets. From some academic paper I found on google which essentially backs up what all the bookies have known for years. The public love it (and remember 95% of gamblers lose in the long run) so the line moves up and it's usually the pros backing the unders to balance up the book (and winning). thanks for the reply zeditave . i thought this was the case. read something similar in a football betting book that most of the mug money was on overs for goals. |

If any of you mugs want to win, you'd read this thread and educate yourselves, instead of doing your conkers on a game of 50/50.

I do read this thread John. More for comedy than educational purposes though. Pure gold, thanks :)

If any of you mugs want to win, you'd read this thread and educate yourselves, instead of doing your conkers on a game of 50/50. LOL your struggling to make a profit from baseball.... yet you think its a 50:50 game.... yet theres always an underdog... dude seriously, give up now before its too late!! :^0 |

Maria, I make more then a healthy profit from this sport. It's a coin toss sport.
This thread is over a year old so ignore where I say I lose at this sport. The bums who bump it up are bumping up educational piece where I engage with an arrogant user called Tai who does still his conkers on this sport on a regular basis, not mention other new-comers to this game who think they have found edge. Like I say, it's fun to bet on, but if you're not thinking of trading out, then you might as well go to Ladcrooks and play the toss of a coin game. |

I remember once watching this boxing match via some streaming website.
It had a little chat box next to it. I couldn't believe what I saw next. Someone called Odwyer1980 saying: I've just put £5000 on Skelton. I couldn't believe it. Needless to say Skelton went on to lose. As if lying on Betfair wasn't enough for him. |

How naughty of you to bump it Onionss ;) The other comprehensive MLB tipping thread was probably almost as comical as this one. If ever anyone needs a how not to bet on baseball guide, you can't do much better than this. I wonder who that No chatname specified chap is that he's arguing with? :D

It can be done, precisely because it's unpredictable
You need however to mix run line and money line in the accumulator |
