None really, played out as you could have expected.

I watched his Ariel interview, and he has thrown himself on the sword, from what he said. Was trying to push for fighters to have advocates in all meetings and healthcare for all fighters.
No way they're going to cough for that, even though they do tend to look after fighters with issues most of the time.

AXS was having murders, but managed to get much the same seats for 286 as I had for the last card.

Why such a big price increase? to cover fight purse increases?
In part, as it's a PPV and obviously a lot more expensive to put on a title fight with those 2.
I'd guess the rest is because they know they can get away with it. I was expecting them to be more expensive. I was thinking maybe 30-50%, and not almost double.
Could have offset some of the ticket prices if they'd done a stadium, but then you end up with half the crowd having a **** view.

I thought Volk did enough, given Islam had a lot of non-active control time, but can't complain at him winning. He snapped Volks nut back a good few times over the fight, even though he ended up looking a lot worse.

I thought Islam did enough to win the fight. His striking was much better than I expected it to be, and he caught Volk with the cleaner shots throughout most of the fight. Volk definitely won the last round though, and I think if you gave Volk the fight Saturday to do over again he would have been more adventurous early and would most likely have won decisively. I agree we definitely need to see this fight again! One of the most competitive big stakes big-time fights I've watched in the UFC in ages!

I've not watched it back, but thought the flipside of that on the night. I have it to watch again on my flash drive, and might watch it Sunday afternoon if I don't go out for lunch.
Couldn't argue at all about the decision whoever got it, though I was expecting 48-47 all 3 for Volk. Funny watching the meltdowns, when you have such a close fight. People just cannot be objective about anything, and the ones with their $20 betting parlays are the worst

Masvidal is deranged if he believes he deserves a shot at the title. Hopefully he gets schooled by Gilbert Burns.
Masvidal has always been deranged, in fairness. He deserves a shot in the WWE UFC world, and that often rears its head when Dana thinks it prints money.
Part of me wants him to get the brakes beaten off him, but part of me wants him to win, so Leon can get it back, and I think he would literally beat Jorge, as badly as he beat Diaz for 4 1/2 rounds.
As far as deserving, I'd save the outrage for when he gives Conor a title shot at 170 if he beats Chandler

UFC definitely need to take a look at their judges. How on earth did one of them think Vera won that fight? Sandhagen dominated the whole fight.
Nothing to do with the UFC, it's the commissions that appoint the judges.

Think some judges are just useless, more than anything else.

Paddy's a million miles away from being "elite". Tony is on a six fight losing streak (I think) and is well past his best. Should be an entertaining card. And I will lay Paddy at those odds.

Yep, those six fights he lost were against elite and top-ranking opponents (and Nate Diaz), all of whom would destroy Paddy (who hasn't even fought to top 15er). Odds probably right in the Edwards fight. I'm shouting for Colby in this one. 
Woeful effort from Tony. Surely retirement is his only option now after losing to this journeyman. Not sure why I supported Colby here. Guy's an absolute embarrassment.

Paddy was pretty good tbf, though was a moment start of 3rd where he seemed a bit gassed and out on his feet, but managed to get it back on the ground.

Trump walked out just as Covington started his loser's speech. He claims he lost due to the judges being anti-Trump. What a clown. Paddy was better than expected and not as obnoxious as he usually is. Be interesting to see how he does against a proper top 15 contender though.

Paddy out of his depth at the highest level. He looked sloppy and unprofessional against Gaethje. Now he's fattening himself up again by stuffing his face with burgers and pizzas. He'll never be world champion.
