A good day yesterday. 2 bets inc 4pts each way Anjomarba who was backed from an early 6/1 into 100/30 jt fav and won comfortably. Bets today include a Maximum Bet which are as follows.
2.00 Brighton 3pts win Billy Red
5.05 Newcastle 5pts each way Maximum Bet Fire Crystal
5.25 Brighton 3pts win Exchange
6.55 Pontefract 3pts win George Adamson
The initial bank of £1000 now stands at £1,812.00. Just one bet yesterday 4pts each way James Pollard who ran on well in the closing stages to finish 2nd at 6/1. Two bets today;
4.00 Folkestone 4pts each way Anjomarba
8.05 Newcastle 3pts win Jeu De Roseau
The one bet yesterday was unfortunately a non runner. Just one bet today where the group seemed quite keen on Tamareen in the 4.00 Lingfield.
2pts each way Tamareen
Bank now stands at £1,844 following a poor Saturday where the only bright spot was 1pt each way on Perfect Chi 16/1 who ran a decent race to finish third. The Maximum lay bet made all the running to win and having layed at 5/2 proved expensive. Just one bet today.
One bet yesterday, a 5pt each way Maximum on Ridley Didley who won fairly comfortably at an sp of 4/1. Four races stand out today including a Maximum Lay bet. Initial starting bank of £1,000 now stands at £2,094.00.
Bet One: 5.15 Haydock 1pt each way Keys Of Cyprus
Bet Two: 6.20 Lingfield 2pts win Suzy Alexander
Bet Three: 6.50 Lingfield 10pt Max Lay Admirable Duchess
Bet Four: 8.45 Newbury 1pt each way Perfect Chi
It was very interesting that in the 6.50 Admirable Duchess was the only runner in the race not selected by any member of the group as their choice of winner. Current price around 3/1 fav having drifted from 5/2.
Just one bet today from the group but it is a Max. Just to add that the initial starting bank of £1,000 now stands at £1,754.00.
6.20 Catterick 5pts each way Max Ridley Didley.
Well what can i say about yesterday on wisdom of crowds. i tried to be more clever than the crowd and got bitten. As mentioned, the 6.30 at salisbury saw two horses dominating in the groups selections, Nubar Boy and Memphis Man. I decided to go it alone on Nubar Boy as the group tended to favour this one as the winner despite a high number of them going for Memphis Man to at least make the frame. What Happens! Memphis Man bolts up with plenty of 10/1 available on here. Now i know that members of the group check in on here to see the outcome of their predictions and i must sincerely apologise to them. What should have been a reasonable day yesterday turned into the biggest losing day so far (£220) which was down to me and not the group.
Very Well Red (isp 11/4) made it 3 correct lays from three on this system yesterday, the horse struggled for most of the way and finished a well beaten 7th. Whitby Jet (2pts ew) had earlier ran a decent enough race in 2nd though was no match for the unexposed Dysios. The other two runners disappointed. Lilli Palmer, well supported in the market, looked one paced in 5th whilst Front Rank ran a shocker (pulled up). Overall a slight loss of approx £10 was made on the day.
Some very interesting data today which includes a Maximum Bet this evening.
Bet One: 4.00 Haydock the group appear to have focused their attention on two runners here with slight preference for an outsider
2pts each way Celtic Change
1pt each way Charlie Cool
Bet Two: 4.45 Wetherby 2pts each way Shrewd Investor
Bet Three: 6.30 Salisbury wasn't sure how to play this one. Two horse totally dominated here, Nubar Boy and Memphis Man but the majority of the group have selected Nubar boy as the winner, therefore i will take a chance on that one alone.
5pt win Nubar Boy
Bet Four: 6.55 Sandown 5pts each way Maximum Bet Imaginary World. All members of the group have this in the first three with a large number of them having this as their choice of winner.
