I'm hoping that a horse carrying top weight in a 28 furlong Handicap Chase can give us a successful trade today. The six year old has won two and been placed 3rd and fourth once each from his four Chase runs to date. Last time out Lost Glory was returned to hurdles and won from a similar mark to his chase mark. The fourth placed horse that day has gone on to win to give the form a boost. Lost Glory is a lazy jumper but should be good enough to give us a trade today, normally held up just off the pace. Its always difficult knowing whether to take a price about any of Jonjo's horse but I took 7.2 and 7.4 about this one, looking for a lay off price in running of 4.4 for an all green green to the value of 1.3 points, the more ambitious can look to get out at 3.95 for a 1.7 pts all green screen.
In the 3.00 Investment Affair has drifted to a nice 6.6, he may be 11 years old now and up in the weights for his last win but he has won from higher marks than this in the past, this consistent chaser has been available to trade in 8 of his last ten races. A lay off in running of 3.95 for a 1.3 all green screen or for the more ambitious lay off at 3.5 for a 1.7 all green.
A nice easy trade there with Investment Affair trading all the way down to 2.12 in running, happy days, and 1.75 points all green for those who wanted the bigger profit.
For those who have waited, Lost Glory drifting out and is now 11.5 leaving you needing an in running lay off price of 6.8 needed for a 1.3 all green !! Sometimes it pays to wait with Jonjo's.
Easy trade whatever price you took with Lost Glory trading down to 3 in running (finished placed at 2.8), for another nice easy trade and 1.7 points all green for the second time today, happy days.
