Carrying bottom weight in the next at Lingfield I hope that we can get a trade out of the consistent filly that is Spirit of Grace. Normally ridden from a prominent position the filly has been available to trade in nine of her ten career races so far including tow at this course and a total of five from six on polytrack. She will not have her own way up front this afternoon which is not too much of a worry as she can run from just off the pace if need be. James Doyle is her regular jockey and he again has the ride. The course and distance are fine for her, backed at 10.5 leaving an in running lay off price of around the 6.2 mark for a 1.3 all green screen or lay off at 7 for a 1 point all green screen.

In the next at Catterick the horse I'm hoping will trade for us is the Paul Hanagan ridden Cruise Tothelimit, his stable mate has been taken out of the race and this horse gets in here without a penalty for his win in an apprentice race last time out. There may still be more to come from him. He has been available to trade in eight of his last ten races Backed today at 8 leaving us needing an in running trade of 4.7 for a 1.43 pt all green screen or lay off at 5.3 for a one point all green screen.
Yes it won, but it looked as though the stewards were going to cancel the meeting so I tweeted to twitter that I cancelled the trade !! Typical of course !!
I thought it was better to warn others and err on the side of caution as the going had changed at it looked like a burst pipe around the two furlong marker.
