There were numerous threads on here proclaiming the economic benefits of this potential outcome and for years on here, the backslapping brigade were suggesting that Ireland should leave the Euro. The 5th largest economy in the world is on the verge of a currency collapse normally associated with a developing economy. What would the currency manipulators have done here if we had reintroduced the punt with zero foreign currency reserves? It was in answer to his thread on Brexit R.A.Hole. The bit about currency is of particular interest,I would have said it was the pound finding its CORRECT level. |
