You put them up openly and honestly and for that i commend you. As a moderately failed lifetime gambler i offered you some advice. The stats you produced are not adequate. Can you post price range/ amount of winners/total amount selected....P/L to level stakes |
By:
ive posted all the relevant information, why would I post a p/l to level stakes, this was my multiples thread.
you have the prices of the winners sp's in the different price brackets also listed the early prices I backed the horses at in the multiples in the different price brackets 198 races / 69 wins / 54 2nds / 38 3rds marked the cards for 2 months, and there was plenty of opportunities to make money from these selections. didn't have enough money to trade /back singles/ back place bets/ or back the f/c's /t/c's. had limited funds for the multiples only and that was why I only concentrated on multiples, that was about 45 hours study time for those 198 races and put all those selections well in advance, so anyone could get the best prices when the books priced up the races. imagine when I start putting in the hours next season and watching replays and using few little extra angles (top secret) that work best on the turf, next year will be doing over 1500 handicaps next season, you get to know the horses very well in those handicaps ![]() up for the ungrateful people you find on this forum ![]() replaces the tote next year. |
By:
As i am a lot more experienced than you,it might be fruitful to listen occasionally to that wiser person.
It was an excercise i asked you to complete for a purpose, but not to worry a few more hundred quid and a few more after that. 198 races / 69 wins / 54 2nds / 38 3rds This does not say how many selections you made in total, which is kind of relevant. So when you employ these exotic handicap angles us mere mortals have somehow overlooked, be sure to send us a postcard. |

I give you a race, selected thafeera and fortitude on here, and I left out the fancied runner maid in india,
thafeera won at 11/4, maid in india 3/1 was the lowest weight in the race and was bang in form, done the bets that way so that people would know I was against that horse, now that was typical profile of my usual selections maid in india, anyone with a half brain could of got t/c paid 76.30 trifecta. another race selected sound and silence beaten a neck, by the horse it had beaten by 1/2 length lto, the horse that came 3rd in that race moakkatil who was beaten under 2 lengths at ascot by sound and silence. another t/c paid 89.10, plus the f/c in the race. mokkatil is horse I have been tracking because it was a lethal force horse. another race face the facts and nearly caught, got the 1st and 2nd in correct order with the fav in 3rd trifecta paid 124.80, and the f/c paid 35.75 how difficult was it to find that t/c and had f/c handed to you on a plate. ive learnt more in the last two months, then you lot have learnt in a lifetime of gambling, so there is no point trying to teach me, its a vast subject, you are always learning more and more. just about over 400 to 450 lines which varied 0.65 line to usually £1 line |

gigilo smashed the books again today 5/1 and 33/1 and 14/1 payed 2800/1 treble, he must have fallen out with me,
because he doesn't post the results of his winners on my thread anymore ![]() |

All that lot running onto 3 races tonight as well and absolutely nothing was pretty sickening to be honest if top offer places I win another 2 1/2 grand crazy, then the last race coincidentally the two picks drift like barges and go off suicidal pace and race collapses very fishy.Think there's enough viewing talking horses now and the point's been proved my mum is seriously ill so don't know what I will be doing over the winter as will keeping an eye on my dad.
|
By:
very sorry to hear about your mum, ive been in a similar position for the last 2 years, thankfully my mother has been in relative good health in this period, prefer not to discuss such private matters on here.
knew you had something brewing this weekend, when you dropped that subtle hint about the weather at catterick last night on that thread about the jockey, didn't even realize he was riding one of your selections. I'm going to do some full bank laying in the races I put up on my doubles thread, seems a sensible course of action to attain a workable betting bank, would of been a walk in the park if done this on my first 198 races, know its lot more difficult to do on the aw.the knowledge i learned was far more important than just making the money at the time. couldn't believe it there was a massive rick in a group 1 race today, persuavive who I backed lto and was beaten by roly poly that day (f/c that day a no brainer) was smashed in the betting today. Newcastle fast track qualifiers for 3yos over 6f on Monday, hope its a good card. goodluck and best wishes |
