My last visit to a race course before Leopardstown, a relaxing journey at this time of year.
We'll start with the 1.40. Here I like Myztique , she ran in a very good Navan listed race with the winner been very highly thought of, never looked to get in a blow but ran on well towards finish not been hard push into the bargain ,I think they knew what they were taking on there , Monbeg Rose looked like one to take on after her last run, ungainly head carraige and looked for all the world as if it was all a bit much for her ,even with improvement from that yard  I'd be happy to go against her...
Daliyan is my choice in the 2.10, I like this ones attitude and its last run was full of promise with Barry aboard looks worth a punt. Just Cause is a promising young who will be better over fences , but again he is one whos attitude I like and having run here before , always a good thing, I'll give him the nod . Finally to round things off its Merry Night in the bumper , not only is it a topical tip but I feel punters will be stepping Merrily into the Thurles night after this result...

Poor card, you'd have to be a problem gambler to have a bet there tomorrow,
Have had a word for new to this town in the bumper, won't be 8s at the off that's for sure.

Christmas has just come early folks.........if you have a beady eye, a bot has malfunctioned and is offering double the likely sp price on all the main players in a jumps race tomorrow...it will take you long to find the race if you are keen to latch onto money for old rope.

The 9.20 pm withdrawal time looks very unusual to me KL,might be a reason but i can't remember seeing that before, odd.
Hope it goes well for you anyway.

all the deductions have been implemented after 9.20 when the jollie came out, so it is 100% kosher...bet you will not get mystic sky at bigger than 5/2 come race time.

I'm not doubting you in the slightest KL, could it be declared a NR in error?,only reason i ask that is the 9.20 time, very rare but fairly sure it has happened before going back, wouldn't know where you would stand then, sincerely hope it works out, cracking spot if it does.

I have taken 30% of the market covering the 4 that count....naturally with the jolly out, you are now tested to guess the likely sp's......I would give a tentative tissue of mystic, savingforv and late nite...all priced between 7/4 and 3/1....the market may come for one of the trio and it will tighten, my guess may be mystic as wadhams have a good record at this track and dickie is riding....shanandoa will be the 4th fav at around 9/2....the other 3 are 33/1 rags. I call this the santa claus bot.

I hope you all get money but when it looks to good to be true it generally is.

Back to Thurles.

12.40.
De Benno is locally trained, handles the ground and is on form.
1.40.
Agree with Workrider Myztique loves that ground, her only defeat was in a cracking race in Navan.
2.40.
I love improving mares and Perfect Woman fits that description, she's on the go a long while but seems to thrive on racing.
She was bred by an old friend of mine who Kavvie and Yummy must have known,he was from Newmarket On Fergus.
3.10
Haymount bumped into a good one last time here and has nothing to beat.
3.40.
The favourite Merry Night looked slow to me in Fairyhouse and is my Bismarck,he is back a half mile in trip a huge negative.
They didnt target him at two and a half mile bumper in Leopardstown which suggests he is not held in high regard.
Interesting that CheltenhamRoar has word for New To This Town as though the jockey is a negative the stable is certainly not.
Jury Duty comes from a stable that never shirks a Mullins hotpot and has Nina ( some ride on Commeragh Trix today )

4/1 is a great price for mystic sky.I see in the 12.40 at thurles teelin star has got a new trainer. Were ever his old one has gone? How teelin star has got a handicap mark is a  bigger question.

His old trainer has no licence and is presently paying bewigged gentlemen large amounts of cash.

So were did the handicapper get a mark of 110 out of??
By:
wildmanfromborneo
When: 20 Dec 15 00:33
I don't like that,he's my nap.

Is it just that you think Mall Dini is good or have you negatives for Haymount.
By:

When: 20 Dec 15 01:20
Haymount bar a fall will win tommorow.Mall dini will win races when he gets a mark.
By:
Bigwillystyle
When: 20 Dec 15 01:46
Complete horse **** from clone river! Haymount is too short at forecast prices and is a lay.
Mall Dini will not be winning handicaps as he is thoroughly exposed!!!
By:

When: 20 Dec 15 01:50
He is thoroughly exposed even if he has not got a handicap mark yet????
By:
Bigwillystyle
When: 20 Dec 15 01:57
Yes. Been placed in a maiden. Will likely get a mark around 105-110 which is about his ceiling. Not much leeway off that Mark. Haymount is no good so Mall Fini has a chance tomorrow
By:
cloone river
When: 20 Dec 15 02:08
Mall dini has a chance if haymount falls or does not turn up.They are some trainers who do not like to win maidens.

Good views on the card indeed.
No catch KL,i was wondering what it was and thought it was a technical thing that could be missing,no doubt you will have a nice green book, fair play to you.I didn't get massively involved but with a poor run lately it's a nice draw, thank you.
