We are nearly there.  This should whet your appetite;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfSAXxtw0V8

Most telling part of the documentary was Aldo's wife, wide eyed, quivering like a sh1tting dog, saying 'McGregor is crazy, I genuinely believe he is a psychopath'. Laugh

Talk about getting in a lad's head.

Mouth-watering contest.

I have tried to analyse the outcome Oz watching many videos of both men,my guess  is Aldo will try to slow  'McGregor down with kicks to his right knee   [Aldo training a few days agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v= 15secs] As we know Conor has many have many strings to his's bow but one i dont like is his underminding of his opponents,he will make a big mistake if he has this Attitude in this fight. I Honestly cant call this fight but as you rightly say its a mouth-watering contest.   p.s the Weigh in should be great fun...The weigh-in takes place at midnight (GMT) on Friday and will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass

Looking forward to the fight. Think Aldo will win. Conor has heavy hands so he has a chance. However Aldo is a beast. Should be a great event. Can see Aldo winning inside the distance. Mendes only took the fight last time at short notice and caused Conor big trouble in the first. Aldo is ready and i think he's going to beat him.

An aside to this. Dillian Whyte is fighting Joshua on saturday. Whyte is around 8/1 to win the fight which is to big. Also he is 80/1 to win in r1 80/1 r2 80 r3 in pp. A few quid on each round is a nice speculative bet. Whyte put Joshua on his arse as an amutur and beat him. Thats when they wore helmets. Joshua has been fighting bar brawlers so his record means little. Don't get me wrong he could be the real deal. But you can't train a chin and he's not been hit yet and Whyte has heavy hands. Was on at 66/1 when Khan got sparked out in the first and also when Bernard Dunne got sparked out (50/1). A few quid on each of the first three rounds is not a bad bet i think.

Anyway a great nights fights ahead on Saturday should be good viewing.

Joshua is the real deal.  Great odds for a White ko early and can see where you are coming from, gl.

I don't think Aldo is that slow, Frank.  So hard to predict the outcome.

Interesting to read abut McGregor's knee injury in the run up to that last fight.

Ozy he could be alright but i don't see it. Hard to base being the real deal fighting cannon fodder. So many english fighters are fed muck and have no chin. We will find out saturday. If he beats Whyte then he moves on to bigger fights. Haye would clean him out i think if he stays injury free. Wilder would beat them all imo. Heavyweight division is on the up and hopefully we will see some decent fights as boxing needs a lift.

Oz this is the way i see Aldo trying to slow down Conor, ..  José Aldo Vs. Urijah Faber - Leg kicks from hell.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuzI7A4ZBtM,   Conor,s southpaw style could suit Aldo kicking style, but im sure  McGregor's team will be aware of this.

Ozy he is a beast alright. However as i say to anyone you can't train a chin. No chin no win and i have a feeling if he was put on his arse wearing a helmet his chin ain't great. Any we shall see. Going to be a great nights fighting. Enjoy.

Aldo's legs kicks are brutal. I just think Aldo will find a way to win. Can't see him being beaten. Champion for 11 years fought all the best pure warrior. Conor will have to find a quick ko because the longer it go's if favour's Aldo. I think r4 finish.

Whyte has absolutely no chance against Joshua and he simply wouldn't be in there with him if he had. The basis of the next next Sky/Matchroom deal (Barney Francis and your typical Football Fan in the UK adore AJ) basically rests on Joshua.

The price of 8/1 is based on a bit of support from casuals off a bit of talk from Dillian. Saw 25's a few weeks ago which is nearer the mark. Whyte wouldn't be there if he had a hope and it's is the worst SKY PPV ever, by a million miles.

The amateur encounter is meaningless before anyone says, just look at their physiques. The irony is one of them was wrongly done for drugs!

Neill d do u actually watch boxing or are you another sky hype monkey. I am not saying joshua is the real deal but to say whyte has no chance would be a stupid statement. Same statement when khan got kod in the first round. Dunne got kod in the first round. So i take it you have no fukkking clue and your genrealisded bollix sky hype is great. Your just another bye in monkey hype bollix. Weather he ko's him or not your a clown. I have followed boxing all my life and this **** card should not be ppv. AND NEILD YOU ARE A CLOWN.

I'll explain my point of view, while Whyte is indeed a step up on what Joshua has faced so far, there is that much money to be made in fights with Haye or Fury that they are very unlikely to throw him in with anyone with a pulse.

Bernard Dunne was knocked out in a European Title (an entirely different stage of development to tomorrow night's British Title Fight) by Kiko Martinez. Martinez went on to win a version of the World Title. He also gave the excellent Carl Frampton hell in their first fight. There is also a very strong possibility that Kiko (along with a hell of a lot of other Spanish Athletes) used PEDs and was on them when he fought Dunne. Dunne had frailties anyway and was never a Sky fighter so i don't see the relevance of your point in terms of Match-making. In fact, he couldn't get licensed in the UK.

When Amir Khan was beaten by Prescott, he was very young and it was acknowledged that he had been thrown to the wolves. Prescott was chosen as an opponent by Khan's new Cuban trainer. The trainer was sacked straight away afterwards by Frank Warren for choosing to put Khan in with such a dangerous puncher at that time. Prescott didn't go on to much, but at the time he was a massive and unbeaten lightweight with a real dig. Khan was also very tight at lightweight and moved up to light-welter straight away after. Khan would also leave Warren and join Golden Boy Promotions in America.

What happened to Frank Warren with Khan is exactly the reason why Hearn will match Joshua very carefully until he gets to fight Fury or Haye. One defeat and either fight isn't worth half as much. He'll fight the shop-worn Chisora after this who has just signed with Hearn's German mate. That will look good on paper and give him rounds before he steps in with one of the big-boys in 18 months time and earns at least 20 million.

It's just Boxing Politics!!

When: 11 Dec 15 02:16
Khan ducked the much more dangerous domestic rival John Murray at lightweight as well, why because he was marketable and they didn't want him in with a guy that might beat him at that stage.

Ricky Hatton was never allowed fight Sheffield's Junior Witter (went on to be WBC Champ) on his way up either. Too risky, a loss against such an awkward opponent would have ruined Hatton's appeal.

If Whyte had a pulse, he wouldn't be there. There's also a strong rumour his shoulder is injured. He's there for the coin and not expecting to win.

We'll see Saturday, he has a "Puncher's Chance" was probably the way I should have put it.

Joshua sparred Klitscko and there has been nothing of him being put down there.

Joshua also took up Boxing in his late teens, I wouldn't hold getting dropped early against him. If he was to be beat tomorrow, it would more likely be through him gassing than chin issues IMO. We'll see sure.

Joshua could be the real deal. Dont get be wrong but its a great speculative bet imo. Thats all. Wildman is just jumping on board for his own personal ****. Anyway neil d enjoy the fight. Its a great night fighting nothing i just love boxing and im sorry if i came across wrong.

I'm not saying he is the real deal either tbh!

I'd Fury to box him at range and out-point him, actually. Enjoy the fight as well man. Would be rare enough we talk Boxing on here so a nice change.

just reading back, I hadn't realised people had had bets on the Whyte KO so apologies if what i wrote in the first instance came off condescending. everyone's entitled to their opinion.

If Whyte does win, I will indeed look a clown.

Neil its all about opinions. But as i say i love boxing. And nobody who hasn't ben hit does not deserve the hype he has. He could be great but i dont think he will be. Nassem Hamed first fight in the usa was destroyed. Dillian Whyte will beat him.
