I notice that Real Madrid are currently 1.44/1.45 to win this weekend. They are playing at home against a strong Valencia.
Both teams need the points; RM in their pursuit of Barcelona for La Liga title and Val to aid Champs Lge qualification. Valencia beat Madrid at the Mestalla in Jan this year when Madrid were looking for their 23rd win in a row. Also, in the corresponding game last season played at this time of the year, when RM were in a battle with Barca and Atletico for the title, the teams drew 2-2 in Madrid. Quite recently, Val were beaten 2-0 by all-conquering Barcelona at the Camp Nou but I think anyone who saw the match would have to agree that the Catalans were fortunate to emerge victorious. Considering that Madrid had a very tough, physical game last night in the C.L., allied to the info above, I think they can be opposed to beat Valencia this sat. |
