Your point was clear.....these gays that are acquiring children tend to be wealthy

and false.  According to the data.
Report wildmanfromborneo April 17, 2015 1:42 PM BST
Apologies I have just realised that your quote is about heterosexual couples.

The reason I misread it is it can't be true.

There is no way heterosexual couples in general come from a higher socioeconomic group than homosexual couples,no chance at all.

Your quote has to be a typo.
Report Ozymandius April 17, 2015 1:51 PM BST
Upon reflection, I think it makes sense.

When we talk of the power of the pink pound, it is mainly due to a lack of (expensive) children, rather than high flying careers per se.

A lot of gay and lesbians are confined to lower income jobs.  It can be hard to progress in certain working environments because of stigmas etc.

I don't think your average gay guy (or couple) out earns your average straight guy (or couple).  Remember when children enter the equation, as in the quoted studies, the income of a gay couple is ALSO immediately reduced because of parenting responsibilities (i.e maternity leave or its equivalent).

Opening post removed, lasted longer than most.

It was in no way offensive,I spoke about the Jesus nut in order to circumvent the censorship here, they didnt realise at first that it was favouring a no vote in the referendum.

The latest opinion poll is 78% to 22% in favour, that's some gap the propaganda is working.
The result however will be much closer.
Every political party, all media outlets and all celebrities baying for a yes vote, any proponent of the no side subject to fear of being arrested result few ( I'm an exception ) prepared to publicly support a no.
They will sneak into polling booths and nervously vote no making it much tighter than the intolerant liberal elite think.

Fergus Finlay was on Newstalk claiming to be representing children for yes.

I was hoping for Ivan Yates to fillet the snake in the grass instead we got the oh so politically correct Chris Donoghue asking questions that were so sycophantic it was embarrassing.

Is it right for the well paid chiefs of children's charities to take it on themselves to call for a yes vote.
They then have the nerve to say it has nothing to do with children just equality.

Since 2003, gay and lesbian couples can adopt children in Sweden, and lesbian couples have had equal access to IVF and assisted insemination since 2005 (this also includes the right of single LGBT persons to adopt).

No signs of society falling apart thus far.  Aren't they a cute family?

The No campaign has no chance but the margin won't be like the polls are saying it will be much lower because the Irish people will sneak into the polling booths and vote no.
