I gave political opinions you didnt like.

You won't find any foul or vulgar language in any of my many posts.

You however have the medal for the most offensive post ever made here,if it was reported you were gone but I play by different rules than you.
You were fond of that report button.

Return to your wishing cancer on someone else's family.

Not once have I ever pressed the Report button.

Not once have I ever wished ill on anyone's family, let alone cancer.

Get your fact straight too clown ...... it was Rowley Mile who threw many blows at me before I ever reacted to him.

How is he a good poster.
He has never created a thread of any interest, never.
His Equus like devotion to Ballydoyle was boring as were his one line posts blandly saying such and such a horse is a magnificent beast.
He showed a remarkable inability to follow the proper racing threads he now laments.

I get he and others don't like the political stuff but they are not forced to read them.

The other general complaint about the forum being great years ago doesn't stack up either.
Millionaire Morse,Rocketfingers were premiership class in the juvenile posts department.
Reluctant good at the arcane stuff.
Robo although funny was tops in the vitriolic stakes.

The stroppy I don't like the forum anymore so close it down accompanied by some foot stamping by some of the former contributors tells you plenty about the forum content from their era.

Wildman how do you know what the forum was like prior to your joining less than 5 years ago?

Threads get brought back to the top,the old threads were still there but its fair comment to say its not the same as being there.

I remember you as a poster and thought you knew your racing which is why I'm surprised that you want it closed down.

There are few as nostalgic as me but things move on.posters can get ill or die,new ones come in that's the way it is but there always was squabbling here, the only golden era I can envisage round here would be the start when it was new, like all things the first to discover here made money, the first to get to grips with it made plenty but nothing lasts forever.

Wildman thanks for the reply and as you say nothing lasts forever. Yes it was easy to make money on here at the beginning,  layers offering crazy prices and strong markets the night before.

I agree that there was always squabbling (clash of egos etc) but it does seem to have become an epidemic in the last 2 years or so. I do not see the need for insults and some of the posts are just beyond comprehension.

If this behaviour continues I can  see the forum dying a slow death.

My tuppence worth for what it's worth is that there was always a percentage of bolloxology on the Irish forum as long as I've been here but for some reason in the last 2 years or so it's reached epidemic proportions and you've guys who were contributing to the place  actually getting hounded off. Can't for the life of me see the advantage of chasing off people who were actually started racing threads and gave their opinons and fancies (no matter what price they were).

To reply to the OP,I'd say no but it's a shocking waste of possible information and knowledge.
