Still pretty good I think, particularly on the bigger race days at decent tracks. January is a poor racing month, and even then there were some excellent racing threads last week. Didn't see much wrong with yesterday's Thurles thread, either.

THERES some amount of slagging all right Mrc; and often by the best foremites on her when it come to posting about matters sporting, i Doubt if it will cease because they like each other to much.

No, it would be very disappointing to see it closed. It offers great discussion on racing, golf and current affairs particularly.
I think the racing this january has been excellent neill. Good cards this weekend, plus thurles on thursday, thyestes day nxt week. Champion hurdle @ the end of the month. Well done HRI on helping us banish the post christmas blues. |

Mrcombustible who's only contribution is a whinge about the content of a forum he reads.
He doesn't like the content but rather than make some telling contribution of his own his first reaction is to want the forum closed down. Close it down, close it down Mrcombustible is sounding like those lovely Imams that are much admired round here. |

I just meant relative to March, May/June, High Summer & Christmas which are the high-points. You're going well putting up the winners New Approach at any rate. No complaints here.

Agree with the time of year as well, one midweek race meeting,no gaa, agree also race threads have been good recently and the golf contributers are very, very good. Sometimes a few insults are thrown alright,in a lot of cases the replies is in self defence.

Fair point neill. I presume there'll be a lull in February now barring Hennessy day but a bit of a breather might be no harm before the march madness that is Cheltenham.

Father Teresa of Fettercairn and his followers should form an enclosed order and throw smiley faces, slaps on the back, well done NORNS and eat jelly babies all day.The biggest "Trevor Danker" that ever drew breath.Does anyone remember the Harry Enfield character who went around with a gormless smile saying "only me"every time he joined company with somebody. His name escapes me but he must have based him on Father Teresa.

Kavvie,
What about Roadrunner, weren't you trying to avail of his tips at one stage? I notice that you have frequently complained about your accounts being restricted,do you believe that you being pinpointed as a marked man stems from the time you were getting Beep Beep's tips or is it Tony and Workrider's etc selections that have closed you down? |
|
By:
Saying that Tony and Wonks have their moments on the horses is a little bit like saying Anne Widdecome looks good from certain angles in a flattering light.

Still craven Soldieroffortune, have a drink it might give you the courage to spit it out.
You are the gent that brought name calling to a new level in your feud with Rowley Mile,a great poster.. You are the gent that said the vilest of things I have ever read anywhere about my wife and cancer. |

By:
Single handedly you brought the Irish Forum to where it is today.
Congratulations. |
