Or if you are British "Republic of Ireland".
I'm quietly confident the Germans will show some mercy, and keep it under 10-0.

Maybe , just maybe , the lads might defend better than last time Kincsem , not sure who King will play in midfield , but surely it can only be better that than Green  etc ..I'm hoping King tells them go out and have a go ..We just might be about to see a dramatic change in how we approach games from now on ....

GERMANY might play a few 2nd choice players so a 2/1 win might be a fair bet around 12/1 here,  ireland have nothing to lose so they might give it a good go.Happy

The tickets for the Kazakhstan seem to be the same price as the Sweden game.  Good luck to the FAI.

I am afraid we might try and "express ourselves" against the Germans.  The 20/1 win odds say we are not Brazil.

The fact that we might even try and express is enough for me to be getting on with Kincsem ..If we get done trying i'll have no problem with that ..Whats got on my nerves over the years was Traps don't lose a any cost , sure we might get well stuffed , but that's not going to change anything , including our world ranking  .Lets see how King gets his players to play for him , a little belief cold go a long way to rebuilding the players self confidence , and God knows we could do with that...As we set out on a new journey , lets wish the captain of the ship ,  NEW IRELAND , all the best....

o.k lads germany 2 ireland 1 is 12/1 here,   3-2 for germany is 40/1...the gerries have  a number of injury players out also you would expect ireland to give the game a good lash so the above odds are fair value for a score each.Tongue Out

Hope we get Gibson and McCarthy in the same team. Stephen Ireland has looked sharp at Stoke this year and will be a good addition when he eventually comes back, hopefully a bit more humble. Throw in Wes Houlihan and we should at least have some chance of retaining the ball.

                            Gibson McCarthy

                Houlihan       Ireland     Brady/McGeady

                                 Long

I've a feeling if Houlihan is ever going to establish himself, it is going to have to be cutting in from a wide position like David Silva. It could work on right but there is no chance wide left as he doesn't want to be going down the line with his lack of gears.

Clark and Delaney at centre backs probably they play for probably the sides with the 2 worst defenses in the prem, long night huddys.

One of those though isn't it, he shouldn't but he will because hir career profile could do with the boost of international football so he can get his last big move.

At least he has international level ability, I'd rather see Ireland tog out again than Andy Keogh, put it that way. Incidentally, the 'loyal' Keogh sneakily threw his toys out of the pram when he knew Trap was going. And Trap the man that probably got him his club contract by talking him up and giving him international exposure.

Pro sport lads, they're all out for themselves....and rightly so, plenty of lads put in just as much effort and are left with nothing.

Would like to see Clark and Wilson with an eye to the future even though Wilson is probably our best option at full. Hopefully Greg Cunningham can get himself right and maybe nail down the left-back slot in the next few years. Robbie Brady might do a job there too, he can play and sure wasn't Kilbane there long enough.

Liked the fact Herr Loew seems to be a bit of a Gaelic Football fan.
Glass half empty for me also ,do well to keep it to 2 or 3.

I think the score will be "any unquoted" and I doubt Ireland will score.
But if we stuff the Germans 4-0 and then hammer Kazakhstan, and Sweden lose twice, we're there.

I think Germany will win easily but wouldn't be surprised if Ireland snook a goal from a set piece, Germany did let in 4 against Sweden and Sweden are no great shakes, I know the Germans were 4-0 up and almost certainly got complacent, Austria also had a few decent opportunities to score in Germany before succumbing 3-0.

Took on chance on both teams to score 5/4 with Spoils just to keep me interested in the game.

glen whelan - right wing Confused
Kevin Doyle - left win Confused

He should have picked Mcgeady and Pilkington, in those positions.

At 6,s on here thought the unquoted for the first half only correct score wasn,t too bad(basically means either team has to score 3 in the 1st 45mins) a small interest bet on that for me, possible Ireland will try and park the bus but an early goal might throw them out of shape also. gl with your bets.

Ireland getting torn a new one from a Germany team, who in the past 9 months have been well below par imho.

Half the German public want Low out.

I dont really care anymore anyway. I can never support this team again with that disgrace (Gibson) recalled and the way the media & fans hounded Trap out and trampled and tried to tarnish his legacy.
