Hardly surprising given the manner in which people scurried for prices are someone spouts about it before a bookie has it priced up.
|
|
By:
Best price now 11/10 ..back it last night at just over 2/1 .. have to admit 11/10 now for his 1st race looks skimpy .maybe a watching brief at that price.

Your system is outstanding frankalsoran.
You lay off the very heavily backed Kempton horse the other day. You know when to back each way when they place rather than win. You beat the mroning price when it is punted and you top up at nearly the biggest price in running rather than use your midweek policy of securing profit or at least the stake on the win part. A quite stunning punter/aftertimer. How did you manage to keep your bets quiet for most of the 7 years you have been on here? Were you in Burma for most of it with no internet access? |

By:
95% of the forum have never had a losing bet Mickie thanks to laying off losers and backing huge priced winners in running never once mentioned before the off

Kavvie, will you stop going on about Arles ! It was far and away the biggest K.L. bet I've ever had. I've been a sceptic ever since. I'm backing most of his selections on this thread but with low stakes.
Well done, keen leader ! |
|
By:
reb i believed you wer a sceptic.the man is diff class.
|
|
By:
Reb was never a sceptic kavvie.
He said that KL should not feel forced to bet each day and be selective from memory, which is what he has been doing. Can't argue with results. |
|
By:
agree.lets hope it continues!!..

By:
exceptional tipping keen leader....very well done....

Thanks D.V.
kavvie, the next time you mention Arles, please let it be in the context of a discussion on holidays in the South of France/Vincent Van Gogh. |

Keen Leader for President!
Even the normally dour Distant View has been won over. Unfortunately frankalsoran60 was found dead in a tragic accident in the bedroom of a two star hotel shortly after 4 o'clock today. The cause of death is said to have been auto erotic asphyxiation. The deceased had consumed 2 cans of Dutch Gold and a pair of sheer stockings and an orange was found on or about his person. Det. Supt. O'Shaughnessy said that the most unusual aspect of this case was that the television in his room was found on but not tuned to a p*rn channel as is the norm in such cases, but rather to AttheRaces. |

By:
I am not won over, as I know KL and have always been well aware of his knowledge of the game.
I simply cannot understand the flagging up of a horse the night before prices are released, unless the bet is of no interest to himself, which it obviously is not. His information on that horse was spot on, but if it had been released similar to the rest of the horses (I realise it was not a recommended bet), the price might have held up a bit in the morning, as I was fully aware of its abilities and intended punting it. Like many on here, it can be infuriating to see people take betfair prices the night before and mark the bookmakers cards, but flagging them up on here to start a stampede for the prices is more so. They are public prices however and I am fully aware that I have no divine right to have people keep the information to themselves. |

A fine tale Ozy, but Carlisle is on Racing UK!

dv i read same thread and i thought 2s was a more than fair price.and id say whether he had it up here or not didnt interfere with the price.7/4 was first price i seen and people looke dat it and seen the conundrum and links..ted-nina-barry-aj- etc.and ted w doesnt train too many bumper winners so thats one reason price held?
|
|
By:
Who knows kavvie, but early ricks were possible. I wouldn't be able to get the 365 price so probably did not matter in that case, but the record of the stable and some strong form and fancied sorts in the race should have merited bigger than 7/4.
Anyway I will stop discussing that as this is about his bets, his wins and the discussion around that, so my input is not needed and very likely, unwelcome. Good luck with the rest of the project. |
