He also said that the George Baker trained horse 2.20 Brighton was a steering job but isn't any great value at 11/10. But will win all the same.

He's my buddy BJG! Used to post on here under magic md. (pro punter)

Don,t want to sound petty and well done with your winner but this business with "5 star nap" and "steering job" (both beat) is a load of old fannie.
All for putting an opinion or fancy up on the forum(preferably with at least a little bit of reasoning) but to using phrases as steering ob isn,t ever right. |
|
By:
Lapsy Pa, I am merely repeating exactly what I had been told from MD.
It was this sort of negativity that drove the man off the forum. |
|
By:
well done AGAIN snap
|
|
By:
Nothing was meant to be negative there,i,m always happy to see people taking off a book, just think your colorful metaphors are dangerous to use in my opinion.
|
|
By:
I would have thought 11/10 about what is considered a steering job would be deemed an ok price.
The second was a bit unlucky in the Leicester race but winner looks progressive and seemed to do it comfortably enough. Well done. |
|
By:
I would have said that the horse in the first at Brighton was very unlucky not to win, probably hit the front too soon, started idling out in front and the winner had the benefit of the rails to run against also.
The horse in Leicester won quite cosy imo and is one to be keeping on the right side of in the future I would say. It's all abou getting the value Bassanio, no value in backing 11/10 shots when your nap for the day is 7/2! |
