Pa, nice start for Thomas has birdied his first 2 best of luck. Lookin for Pod to do something similar tonight!

Another one for him Dep,wanting leaders not to start well nowGrin.
Bit unfair to pod yesterday as a lot of players really struggled,(including LukeCry)

Didn't see any of the coverage yesterday. Was course playing a lot harder in the evening? John Huh has sneaked into it....thank god...,he usually further off the pace at the halfway stage. Think he has great temperament, doesn't look like he is going to be afraid of finishing lines, might top up on him.

Crusty greens Callit, putts wetrnt dropping. Pods chipping let him down mainly, still fought hard to be -1 his last 10 holes were lesser players would have folded. still only halfway and 5 behind. I am the eternal optimist though!

-4 Thru 8 Pa, 1 behind!

Better start from Pod today. Hopefully can work his way to 8 under. Should be in with some sort of stab at it tomorrow then. Some glut of players at 4 under.

Would be nice if Snedeker and Fowler could pick another shot or 2 up each over the last few holes! Would b right in it

Backed Tiger, Phil and westwood there at combined 14s. Think it worth a stab. Obviously reliant on Serg having a bad day, but acouple of missed early putts, and angry serg could appear! I tink Watney is an 80 waiting to happen, and those between him and the 4 unders dont inspire much confidence on a Sunday.

snedeker has a decent record coming from behind to win, fancy him to challenge serge more than watney but garcia looks so confident right now i'd say he'll hold on

Hoping for a collapse but think he probably will hold on as well, scoring doesn,t look as hard as yesterday.

Very hard to pick who will win, but a Sergio meltdown is well overdue.
Im still shocked he won last week Grin

Laid serg, watney, estes, vj, senden before play yesterday. Laid serg and watney again tonight. Belly up if either of them win!! Waiting on ogilvy, dusty and bubba for 7man yankee in the two balls. Would ease the pain!!

Some really bad performances over the weekend.

Phil is lurking around there with this new putting grip. One to watch next week and the remaining weeks.

He bogeyed the first and never improved his position from there as far as i can see. Was out myself so dont know for sure but dont think he went any shorter than price you laid him at

When: 27 Aug 12 20:47
haha wr i was on garcia all week! i also had decent greens on watney and snedeker but ended up making a mess of things as watney was the one i least fancied, oh well a win is a win even if it's not as much as you'd hope. nick is a hard player to figure out, pulls out spectacular shots and putts and follows up with a couple of three putts! he was definitely helped with garcia's capitulation, watney is one i'd be laying down the stretch in a major. well done wr hope you cleaned up

thanks lendme...i'd agree re watney , his wedge from the middle of the bunker on the 16th or 17 th was unreal ..even i wouldn't do that....Laugh...i'd take him on if hes ever in that position again....

oh yeah remember it well, a shot like that should carry automatic disqualificationGrin. i think sergio was spent so couldn't take advantage, a keegan bradley or zach johnson up there would have gobbled him up!!

Off to Boston this week, since ,03 Woods with a win and two 2nds,A Scott a win and a second and Luke Donald a second and third in the last two years seem to have the best course form.Don,t think on the basis of last weeks play that you could fancy any of them with great confidence.
Someone i think might go well here could be described as the epitome of a journeyman golfer after losing his card a few times in the last 5 years,he has also missed his last two cuts, and to top it all had severe scolliosis(curvature of his spine)as a teenager.I suppose if anyone said there was a bit of a "want"in me after reading that it would be hard to argue. However he has a few things in his favour, top players none seem to be playing outstanding imo,it is the bare 100 man field, players with a similar profile such as O.Browne,S. Verplank,M.Weir,Mediate and Bohn have all done well here and his stats  with 6 top 10,s from 26 events(23% approx)says he is having a good year overall.
At 18/1 Ken Duke seems a fair price to reach the top 10(500+ for the win,i,d expect both price to drift a little by tomorrow evening),i,d be very surprised not to see Donald reach the top 10 with his record here and 6/4 isn,t bad at all.Still just going to start this week with Mr Duke, good luck with yours.

Duke was playin very well a month or two back, has cooled a bit since then but I've seen worse 18/1 shots Pa, GL. Luke at 6-4 lokks a shoe in alright, but I tend to shy away from the shortish prices as the stakes tend to be much bigger, thus losses as a result.

Choosing between Snedeker & Donald for my 2nd pick, see how the market shapes up before deciding. Friday start/Monday finish this week remember, Labor day in the states apparently.

E.w Westwood at 28s so far. If Stevie Wonder had of taking his putts from inside 6ft last week, he probably would of won. Now that he has his confidence back in his long game, he wont be far away. And Tony Johnstone might just start to sort out his short game.
