In 2002 Woods beat Mickleson,Garcia was 4th and Pod 8th,moving forward to '09 Mickleson was runner up,Woods 6th,Garcia and Mcilroy T10,seems these can handle the course very well, though i think Mickleson can be discounted as his driving is terrible.Winner as the market suggests ought to come from one of the above. If i was looking at an outsider probably would be Tim Clark again, made the cut there in 09 and well on the way back from injury as his last two weeks have showed, suspect in the heat of battle however.
Going back to maths and stats this week however, the stat that impressed me most would be Luke Donalds top 10,s since the start of 2011,has played 32 events and finished inside the top 10 on no less than 20 occasions ie nearly 2/3 of the time inside, available at 5/2(books, exchanges are poor with this market on a lot of players) have to play the maths on this one.GL |

Hard to see past McIlroy but odds are skinny at 8's so have to pass as is Tigers. Nice win prices on here for the rest of the field as a result.
Still feel Padraig has a win in him this year, if he can only putt for 4 days & on at 95's, massive price I feel. Also not deserting Bill Haas this week again, his time is soon also, hopefully, order up at 75's. W&Pl both. Top field, should be good.GL. |

As said great value if you look past the top 2 in the betting, have to go for dustin johnston after backing him last year in this event, has been abit hit and miss this year but was the same coming up to this event this time last year 28/1 so going for a e/w bet,2nd selection will be Schwartzel at 66/1 with lads solid enough last week seems to be playing into abit of form,They are my 2 against the field, any views lads in europe?might do a couple of guys after the 2nd round, will post up on friday evening if i do,best of luck

No bet in europe Huddys but at the prices of those near the top could do worse than last years victor Thomas Bjorn.
Thought this US tournament would have got the juices going amongst the forum, must be all on holidays! |

Keegan Bradley 33/1 ew
Carl Petterson 66/1 ew Rickie Fowler 110.0 Brandt Snedeker 120.0 Jimmy Walker 125/1 ew Mark Wilson 1000 Think Rory is the likliest winner too but no value at all at 15/2 imo - Bradley my main bet Petterson is probably the one thats overpriced, been in great form finishing 3rd in the PGA and 4th in the Wyndham in his last 2 starts Mark Wilson is already a winner this season and was 3rd in the WGC matchplay, seems to have lost his form badly though for what ever reason but he is one i think could pop up at a big price someday! Wont break me at the price for a few euros! |

Havemt finalised the team yet, but think Zach Johnson is a must bet at 110. Had 50 e.w in powers on Monday at 66s, thinking i was stealing a march!! Had another 40 on here now. Better turn it off soon, or it could get costly!
Other main bets: Tiger 10.0 Phil 48 Luke 26 Pod 85 Might add Westwood if he drifts anymore. Shocking form at moment, but sacking the caddy and coach could have released sum pent up frustration. Might just fall into abit of form as a result. Class is permanent. Threw couple quid on few rags, Barnes, Moon Bae, Huh, Slocum, Blixt. Good Luck all. |

By:
was only thinking earlier did you back pod for 1st round leader deplaster delight you did, what price did you get?
|
|
By:
only 4 quid Huddys at 55 here . Hopefully should be ok.
|
|
By:
Fingers crossed.

Wd with 1st rd leader Deplasterer, followed you with Bjorn(25,s) in Scotland for an interest in it,nearly every shot they showed yesterday of him was from a bunker, hopefully will have used up his quota of them.
Still wide open in the States.GL |
|
By:
GL Pa, hopefully Bjorn gives you a run,lot of danger men up there already, Colesarts, Lawrie & Molinari.
Can't decide whether to trade Pod for stake at 11's (have him at 95's), feel if he can shoot -2 or -3 today will probably be trading aronud 4.5 tommorrow. Decisions, decicisions, any thoughts? |

Keep the faith DP, Pod to shove it in Ollys face. He has said on a few occasions after a good first round, that concentration has been a problem. He wont be losing focus this week!!
|
|
By:
Yeah your right Callit, I rarely trade unless odds on so would be going against my instincts, Olly is being a right dic k alright, might just spur the great man on to victory too hopefully. GL, u on pre tourney too, I see u tipped him up in the golf forum early.
|
|
By:
Thought before the tournament started the back 9 was a fair bit harder than the front,Pod starting on the back 9 this evening,he got 6 birdies and no bogies on it yesterday, being out later suppose you wouldn,t want Fowler,Walker,Rose in particular doing well, think he may harden before he tees off myself.
Yeah, scoring low in scotland, bjorn is looking as if he has a fair bit to do. |
|
By:
Yeah, went with Pod, Tiger, Phil, luke, Zach. Few small bets on rags, Blixt the best of those. Zach biggest winner, still think he great value atm, but would be cheering for Pod all day long if he in the mix.
|
|
By:
See your bets now callit, was here I seen them for fecks sake
. Zach big player alright for you, GL, but I'll have the Pod hat on all weekend hopefully.-3 or 4 will keep right in the mix Pa, early days, as you know. |

|
|
By:
+5 thru 8
he is a total shambles [sorry to those who backed him for laughing] |
|
By:
-6 for the back 9 yesterday
+5 for the first 8 on the back 9 today 11 shots difference, quite incredible and the worst thing is nobody is surprised. |
|
By:
permed up molinari and colsaerts 11/2 and 6/1 in europe earlier today with woods and dustin johnson in the fed ex 8/1 and 14/1,so should have a good interest, all to win around the same amount,
|
|
By:
Terrible day for my selections yesterday!! And Olesen didn't do me any favours in Europe either. Don't need to be worrying about laying anything off at the moment anyway! Hopefully Tiger gets the back sorted.
