Didn't see a thread out for this, is deserving of one. Two cracking days racing which shows we are well on our way back into N.H season :)

They shorties always win hereCoolLaugh, it is our version of that Faturday Chepstow meeting, except higher quality, great meet. I'm glad the DeBromhead horses have had their run as they would muddy the waters a small bit, are they wound up or not etc.

Hope there will be enough cut in the ground for Shinrock Paddy to take his place in the Buck House Novice Chase on Thursday, really looking forward to see him jump a fence.

Should be enough cut in the ground for most,it's dry and mild at the minute but showers forecast for later and tomorrow.

No sign of rain yet so could be a bit of a glue pot tomorow if it stays like this.

there is one horse that i am really looking forward to this season that runs tomorrow and that the mare Dazzling Susie ...... I also think that if she is ready to go first run back she is way over priced this evening at 7/1 with Paddy Power and i can see her going off a lot shorter ....

I d be hopeful she goes well fresh , when back in January after a 6 month break she won her bumper at  Thurles . Course form also ,  from 3 runs  she has won a mares winners bumper , ran a cracker when 4th in the Punchestown bumper and then followed up at the end of May winning her maiden hurdle at the first time of asking .
I also heard Davy Russell being interviewed recently on radio and when asked the one horse he was most looking forward to riding this winter he nominated Dazzling Susie ....
Like i said looks a cracking each way price tomorrow ....ShockedShocked

Gordon elliot who had a successful 3 year old off the flat for Giggenstown a couple of years ago , Carlito Brigantte , has potentially unearthed another one for them tomorrow in His Exellency out of the talking yard at the moment John Oxx .....won on its last run on the flat in Leopardstown  off a mark of 70 in June ..... Doesn t seem to be great opposition tomorrow . I think Whybutwhy doesn t stay two miles so His excellency should be well schooled coming from Elliots and might be good enough to draw first time .... good luck all [;)]

really impressed myself with shadow eile in two hurdle runs so far. looked to have plenty in hand in both. seems to be going the right way and will be a big player in these races this season.

ps . i thought this one would be much shorter than 11/2 on offer with patricks.

i like her as well oufies....very game and has an engine....having said that dazzling susie was very impressive the day i saw her beat jacksonlady  at punchestown ..this is a very good race for this time of year and the winner should be followed over the winter....

Wonks,no disrespect but Dazzling susie was not impressive in any form against jacksons lady at punchestown. It beat it a half a length, all out at the line. Now everybody knows what jacksons lady's limitations are so on that run she cant win this race tomorrow.Saying that her bumper run at the festival was a good effort and that does give her a chance.

Agree about Shadow Eile, considering her latest outing at Listowel was only her second run over hurdles is impressive. She jumped like a stag. Dazzling Susie looks to be on the upgrade too but her first run back since may-she could play second fiddle to Shadow Eile tomorrow. I like Definite Class, expect her to be in the finish but a penalty to be dealt with.

mincer i was there that day ..the way she traveled during the race as most impressive ..i layed her on here so took a good look at that race ....when she hit the front she seemed to think she'd done enough and allowed jacksonslady get back at her....she travels really well in her races ..i just think s.e. will do her tomorrow....

Workrider,i backed her that day and i remember the race clearly. She did everything right and looked in real bother on the crown of the bend.It got a great jump at the last(anything less and it was definitely beat),had the running rail and got a strong drive as well, saying that so did the second ridden by Walsh. It did stick at it well and they pulled a mile clear of the rest, but my abiding memory when they crossed the line was i had to check my underpants to see was it full,i dont usually have to do same when they win impressively.

You have to admit i am having an effect on Mincer,he has made a post without resorting to name calling and it is about racing.

Mincers last post is a bit too graphic and is the reason gambling is not for him.

as i said she came to win her race and thought she'd done enough..this is just off the top of my head haven't looked back over the videos she travels well and maybe she just doesn't find much off the bridle...so think  i'll be backing shadow ellie tomorrow..good luck with what ever you decide to back tomorrow...

Jim Bowie and Smoking Aces worth small interests ew tomorrow.

Thought Four Commanders got a good intro at Limerick. Great jumper. Real chaser. Would he stay 3m? Only 5 so maybe it's too soon to be stepping him up in trip.

Workrider, again no disrespect but i think you are mixing her up,Dazzling susie made all the running in her race, absolutely every yard. She found plenty for pressure,if she hadnt she'd have been beat.Im not saying she will win or get beat tomorrow,it looks open enough to me.

Think Shadow Eile and Dazzling Suzie deserve respect but really believe chaperoned is going to be very hard to beat tomorrow with plenty of hurdle experience under her belt (basically a winner without a penalty), a hugely encouraging flat return last week and getting 8lb or more from the two rivals mentioned above. I think 11/4 represents excellent value as it stands but reasonably hope that could be bigger tomorrow as money comes for those unexposed rivals.

Chaperoned really should be good enough to win the 3:20 and i've taken the 9/4. She looked sure to win last time at Fairyhouse in a grade 3 until falling at the 2nd last and was previously 2nd in a grade 2 and was 4th to Unaccompanied at the Christmas festival at Leopardstown. She also ran very well on the flat last week so is obviously in good form. With the weight she receives here she should really be winning today. The horse that i'd be worried off is Elyaadi.

elyaadi's run in longchamp was terrible she ran very freely like a horse with some sort of problem dont think she will be involved today

Yeah but on the best of her form she'd be the one i think could put it up to Chaperoned. However in receipt of 12lbs she should still be good enough to win.

Was told last week that Chasing Shadows will win today. I reckon Gigginstown could have a treble if the money around this morning is anything to go by. Finally the good racing is back Happy

as workrider pointed out a cracking mares hurdle for this time of year ....disapointed my selection dazzling suzie a non runner ...hope everything ok .... i d imagine we might see her in down royal for the mares race ......
going to take a watching brief in the race ...it s going to be really interesting to see how the race pans out as looking at some of  the main contenders they all seem to be front runners ....shadow eile made all on her two runs this season , chaperoned was out in front making all when she fell last time over hurdles at fairyhouse , jacksonslady made all the last day when winning at bellewstown ......Elyadi seems to be the only hold up mare ..

I like chasing shadows in the last ... Dessie Hughes is a good man to run them over hurdles and then go back and win a bumper with one ......Stayed on nicely into 4th behind the decent looking Frawley the last day ...the second Flycorn gave the form a boost by winning at Tipp so at around 4/1 , he s a decent each way bet

also surprised to see the money for whybutwhy in the first .... i genuinely believe that he doesn t get home over 2 miles ...... The elliot one is a bit short but if he takes to jumping he should stay and be good enough .....he looked like he was going on at the finish when winning over 1mile 2 f at leopardstown the last day .... good luck all

3.20 Shadow Eile seems on the up,weight concession a serious worry though so a stake saver on the fav.
4.55 Hattons Wood E/W should be up in the van  but had a hard enough race LTO and should be a back to lay at worst.

Akiem in the handicap hurdle looks interesting.  Rated 90 off the flat(a few years ago admittedly), finished 4th in the maiden hurdle that frawley won.  The 2nd, flycorn, has won subsequently.  He was backed at fancy prices that day down to around 10 or 12-1 (interestingly, as the stable also had the better fancied flycorn in the race).  A rating of 97 not at all excessive in light of that maiden run.  9s might look v generous by the finish of the race once the ground isn't overly soft.

Dingle,  chasing shadows was 4th to the grey express lto, not frawley.  Perhaps you were looking at Akiem as above.

jaysus pull hard your right sorry ....looking through so many races on the attheraces website  i mixed the two of them up .........I saw the akiem race , what s worrying is that he was withdrawn recently with change in ground conditions ..... it just seems to me todays ground is taking a bit of getting .... thanks again
