The International aspect is what i love about it we are playing for the whole country WR, it makes you feel that we have a special place in the hearts and minds of every person in Ireland.

Yes, i reserve a place every day in my local internet cafe as if i don't go there i won't get the work done, almost gets me out of the house and i have a special rate as well. It's a six week trial to see if my productivity increases if not i will have to get the house work done in the morning and and then start my research into bets from various tipsters. thegalwayman forget about me and enjoy the linky.

The Irish farmer- putting food on your table for generations. I have told you before that I am not a dairy farmer.

It in an interesting approach for a pro punter rocketfingers, but best of luck with it. How does it 'almost' get you out of the house though?

A few city slickers did a good job of sucking blood out of a nation for the last 10 years.....europe funded the farmers and these boyos funded themselves and their mates.

Duff will be a loss...........

Glad Duff is not playing - he has not been a factor for 3 years now in the international set up - be lucky to get one good game out of him in five

Disagree with you KG, Duff played his best stuff in yrs last season, he still has the ability to make a big impact for us. He has always suffered with injuries unfortunately. I'd rather have him than not.

Your ignorance of the importance of agriculture to Ireland is hardly surprising.

Duff has been consistently excellent for Ireland, and, as downallstar says, he has been ravaged by injuries. He was outstanding in the games against France last year. He is our most potent/only attacking threat from midfield and he is a massive loss.

Hope McGeady and Lawrence start out wide with Gibson and Whealen in the centre, We need to attack them. Gibson and Lawrence can both place a cross or through ball accurately and the raking switch of play pass from the right, Gibson and Lawrence to left, Doyle knocking down for Keane and McGeady would be the best means of attack

Nobody said he was our best player. Having said that he's been a very important player for us and always gives his all for Ireland. McGeady has been playing well in Moscow so hopefully he'll have a big game on Friday.

Anyone who starts a thread declaring that a Bohs/Rovers match is going to bring Dublin to a standstill tonight is gone beyond the help a mental institution could possibly provide.

"TRULY REMARKABLE INTERNATIONAL MOMENTS ROCKET ,something the gaa heads will NEVER experiance . "

I was there for at least 6 of them. And nothing compares to Kilkenny winning the all ireland or James Stephens winning teh club all ireland.

It a sad state of affairs that workrider can't enjoy a clip without a little dig. And even a sadder state of affairs when the clip of the Republic of Ireland's glory moments includes:
A goal scored in a meaningless friendly;
A nil nil draw for **** sake;
A couple of toe pokes;
And a few long ball punts that turned lucky.
By:

And as for teh match, Trap will bottle it and we'll play all defensive and be boring as ****.
By:

When: 05 Oct 10 13:27
We didn't play defensive in Paris? Trap knows exactly how to set up the team for these matches.
By:

When: 05 Oct 10 13:36
How often do we play like we did in Paris? Not often enough imv.
By:

When: 05 Oct 10 13:47
Obviously you can't play like that all the time but a game like Russia should give us the chance to play like that again. It's a little more difficult against the likes of Armenia and Andorra whose main aim is not to coincide. 4 points would be a good return from the 2 games.
