You are the only looser around here coming out with that muck. Look forward. It's people like you who keep igniting the flame. In case you didn't know, the war is over.

bloody sunday is not over yet
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 3:39 PM BST
No whitewash this time! Finally an apology.

What have you got to say now Onionss?

Still believe Bloody Sunday victims 'got what they deserved' now eh?

Soldiers 'knowingly but forward falsified accounts to excuse inexcusable actions'

'Not one of the casualties did anything that remotely deserved their killings'

'There is simply no justification whatsoever to what occurred on Bloody Sunday
Report insideinfo June 15, 2010 3:45 PM BST
No-one is saying there is any justification on here, just take this political sh1te elsewhere please.
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 3:47 PM BST
A fantastic day for the victims and victims families and the people of northern Ireland a s whole. There would never have been justice for them if people hadn't kept the flame of justice and fight that every true Irishman and woman have.
Report insideinfo June 15, 2010 3:50 PM BST
Will you be championing the cause of IRA victims as well zippy?
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 3:51 PM BST
IRA victims were not murdered by the state and then had it covered up and were vilified with false accusations and false justifications for their murder
Report The Gotchee June 15, 2010 3:52 PM BST
Let's hope we get a similar apology for the hit on Jean Mc Conville.
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 3:53 PM BST
The IRA have rightfully apolgized for all the innocent people they murdered and people have done time for their murders and people have had closure.

Report zipifried June 15, 2010 4:02 PM BST

Im a British citizen and have no desire whatsoever for a united Ireland and neither do the majority of people in Northern Ireland.Peaceful Ireland, yes.United Ireland, never.
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 4:33 PM BST
Never? lmao

Its coming within the next 100 years without doubt.

Its up to the people of NI, not you. And it is predicted that within 75-100 years the majority of people will support a United Ireland

If not in 75-100 years, the 50 years after that without doubt
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 4:33 PM BST
you are not a british citizen even if you are from north, all you are is an 'and'. Ireland will become united in spirit but that includes you, whatever happens once time passes will be up to the people and should all depend on what the best option is to bring business and investment our way. It will not be part of the UK either.
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 4:35 PM BST
it is amazing what can change in 5 or 10 years nevermind 75, when the good friday agreement the irish taoisheach told a large crowd in dublin that by 20160 there would be a UI, very little coverage of that went north.
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 4:35 PM BST

Hope we now get an apology from the pope for years of abuse by is peadophile priests who abused the young and vunerable through out the length and breadth of ireland and all over the world.
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 5:30 PM BST
what has that got to do with anything?

wait, are you one of those small minded morons who cannot tell the difference between politics and religion?
Report Hatch June 15, 2010 5:31 PM BST
you dont like the truth kauto.Plain
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 5:34 PM BST
nope, im fine with the truth and you are absolutely correct

i detest the catholic church more than any other religion

but i ask again, what has that got to do with anything?
Report zipifried June 15, 2010 5:41 PM BST
yes a full apology from pope should happen and many truths and apologies on all sorts of thing should happen, that is the point but this debate is about England apologizing at last for their long list of evil deeds on the Irish people and yes the Irish fought back and they have apologized, it's a process rather than a hate campaign. At the end of it we all have a better society, the people who don't stand up and fight and rather sit every day watching horses run around doesn't help anybody.
Report comeonkautostar June 15, 2010 5:51 PM BST
hmm......must of thought he was going to get a very different answer so won't respond

Separating politics and religion in Ireland is downright impossible in practice.
Report ricky butcher June 15, 2010 11:36 PM BST
Well myfirstday I wouldn't say that about the IRA. It's a bit unfair on their victims.
Report MALAY June 17, 2010 7:50 AM BST
Fair play to the Volunteers for taking up arms against the Brits, to think  we are all crying about banks and developers, sure we'd know all about if an occupying army was shooting friends and family in the street.
Report insideinfo June 17, 2010 10:29 AM BST
You sound a bit simple MALAY.No-one seems to have mentioned on here yet that one of the dead had nail bombs in his pockets or that our good friend Martin Maginnis was in possession of a gun that day.Only the most backward of people would not realise that not everyone was there for a peaceful protest that day and also that the cowardly IRA had no qualms with launching attacks behind the cover of civillians.
Report ricky butcher June 17, 2010 11:54 AM BST
Read the report. There were no nail bombs in anyone's pockets. Stop spreading lies.
Report Wilhelm Reich in Hell June 17, 2010 12:03 PM BST
It is quite clear that not one of the people shot was carrying a nail bomb. Get your facts straight before you peddle malicious lies about an innocent cvilian that was murdered. As for MMcG you can say what you like but the peole that were murdered had their names cleared and that case was always suspected of being a plant
Report ricky butcher June 17, 2010 12:06 PM BST
Even if there was one, it was in his pockets, how does that justify anybody shooting him? Sickening viewpoint. Some people just can't accept the working class population up there were on the receiving end. It's a class thing. You get it down here all the time.
Report zipifried June 17, 2010 12:11 PM BST
All theat was proved to be lies insidenfo and the stigma that you are still continuing in very wrong and has been for last 38 years, so much so it led to long civil war. Your comments are divisive and backward, it would be much more benficial for you and your family if you ceased from such bigoted ways.
Report Wilhelm Reich in Hell June 17, 2010 12:13 PM BST
The paras were on the rampage throughout 1971 and 1972 and inflicted their brutality on catholic and protestant people during these years. People seem to have forgotten the beatings that were served out to protestant demonstrators by the paras in this timeframe.
Report zipifried June 17, 2010 12:23 PM BST
Has anybody got a link to the footage of a para being interviewed weeks before bloody sunday, the para was on a patrol in west belfast and the newsman asked him was he scared and he said ' why should i be scared, i'm the one with the gun and these people are all stupid people, they are as close to morons as you can get , i don't care anything for them' . It was an attitude all these paras had , i am sure it's on youtube somewhere.
