By:
You are the only looser around here coming out with that muck. Look forward. It's people like you who keep igniting the flame. In case you didn't know, the war is over.
By:
bloody sunday is not over yet
By:
No whitewash this time! Finally an apology.
What have you got to say now Onionss? Still believe Bloody Sunday victims 'got what they deserved' now eh? Soldiers 'knowingly but forward falsified accounts to excuse inexcusable actions' 'Not one of the casualties did anything that remotely deserved their killings' 'There is simply no justification whatsoever to what occurred on Bloody Sunday |
By:
No-one is saying there is any justification on here, just take this political sh1te elsewhere please.
By:
A fantastic day for the victims and victims families and the people of northern Ireland a s whole. There would never have been justice for them if people hadn't kept the flame of justice and fight that every true Irishman and woman have.
By:
Will you be championing the cause of IRA victims as well zippy?
By:
IRA victims were not murdered by the state and then had it covered up and were vilified with false accusations and false justifications for their murder
By:
Let's hope we get a similar apology for the hit on Jean Mc Conville.
By:
The IRA have rightfully apolgized for all the innocent people they murdered and people have done time for their murders and people have had closure.
By:
Where the fcuck is Royal ascot gone from BBC NI.
Fcucking scandalous |
By:
I just hope that now they have the apology they wanted and deserved that we can move on and dont have to listen to it for another 40 years.
By:
agreed insideinfo, time to move on and for the British to move out. We can live in peace only when justice is served.
By:
yeah move on and put the racing back on
![]() |
By:
hope we dont have to wait another 40 years for france to do the same.
By:
Im a British citizen and have no desire whatsoever for a united Ireland and neither do the majority of people in Northern Ireland.Peaceful Ireland, yes.United Ireland, never.
By:
Never? lmao
Its coming within the next 100 years without doubt. Its up to the people of NI, not you. And it is predicted that within 75-100 years the majority of people will support a United Ireland If not in 75-100 years, the 50 years after that without doubt |
By:
you are not a british citizen even if you are from north, all you are is an 'and'. Ireland will become united in spirit but that includes you, whatever happens once time passes will be up to the people and should all depend on what the best option is to bring business and investment our way. It will not be part of the UK either.
By:
it is amazing what can change in 5 or 10 years nevermind 75, when the good friday agreement the irish taoisheach told a large crowd in dublin that by 20160 there would be a UI, very little coverage of that went north.
By:
2016 rather than 20160
![]() |
By:
Classic example of a Freudian Slip there imo LOL.
By:
don't you mean friedan slip!!
By:
Hope we now get an apology from the pope for years of abuse by is peadophile priests who abused the young and vunerable through out the length and breadth of ireland and all over the world.
By:
what has that got to do with anything?
wait, are you one of those small minded morons who cannot tell the difference between politics and religion? |
By:
you dont like the truth kauto.
![]() |
By:
nope, im fine with the truth and you are absolutely correct
i detest the catholic church more than any other religion but i ask again, what has that got to do with anything? |
By:
yes a full apology from pope should happen and many truths and apologies on all sorts of thing should happen, that is the point but this debate is about England apologizing at last for their long list of evil deeds on the Irish people and yes the Irish fought back and they have apologized, it's a process rather than a hate campaign. At the end of it we all have a better society, the people who don't stand up and fight and rather sit every day watching horses run around doesn't help anybody.
By:
hmm......must of thought he was going to get a very different answer so won't respond
you can always tell |
By:
zipi, the last of the freedom fighters. When are you going to apologise for your ignorance and stupidity?
By:
Gotchee what exactly have i done to offend you? nothing i have said is untrue , you lost a lot today didn't you... West Brit of the highest order.
By:
As regards a United Ireland, I feel that there would have been a United Ireland by now if had it not been for the IRA.
By:
des dont talk ****,if it wasnt for the ira the whole country would be still occupied, spose you'd prefer that des
By:
they just kept the yobs in check
By:
Separating politics and religion in Ireland is downright impossible in practice.
By:
Well myfirstday I wouldn't say that about the IRA. It's a bit unfair on their victims.
By:
Fair play to the Volunteers for taking up arms against the Brits, to think we are all crying about banks and developers, sure we'd know all about if an occupying army was shooting friends and family in the street.
By:
You sound a bit simple MALAY.No-one seems to have mentioned on here yet that one of the dead had nail bombs in his pockets or that our good friend Martin Maginnis was in possession of a gun that day.Only the most backward of people would not realise that not everyone was there for a peaceful protest that day and also that the cowardly IRA had no qualms with launching attacks behind the cover of civillians.
