Should be two close games

The first game sees average teams take each other on in what will be a typical Ulster Championship fare. I think Monaghan will take this by 1 or 2 points. It's always dangerous taking a team who hasn't played so far over a team that has 70 minutes of Championship football under their belt already, but last time out with Armagh, just like Tyrone, I got the impression that they were there for the taking when running into a better side. Derry were very poor and Monaghan will put in a better display.

The second sees the two best teams in the country go head to head in Killarney in a repeat of last years All Ireland final. Kerry weren't too hot against Tipp but I think that will have blown the cobwebs away and they'll be right up for this at home, against the Munster champs and will want to erase the memory (if the AI final didnt do the trick) of that thumping they got in the Munster semi final replay by the same opponents last year. Cork havent won here in 15 years, although they should have done last year and they havent had a side as good as this in a while.

Despite that, I'm taking Kerry to pull through by 3 points.

Going to hold off on Armagh see what happens IR. The draw isn't a bad starting bet though.

Agreed on the first match. monaghan a generous price on here too.

On second match bit harder to call. personally thought kerry looked really good against tipp, until they reverted to the lazy tactic of pumping high ball into donaghy in the 2nd half to see them through. If cork are to be seen as serious all-ireland contenders, they should be able to cope to some degree with donaghy and the high ball tactic and limit its effect. Cork should also have too much intensity for kerry in the middle third to see them through by 3-4pts.

Either way, I think we're in for proper intense football, unlike last night.

Can't wait.

Louth/Kildare was a great game.

Good game to watch, but sorely lacking any sort of intensity needed at the highest level. Forwards were shooting from 30 yards with zero pressure on them. Very rarely will that happen today.

Personally I enjoy a real war of attrition with huge hits and non stop pressure and intensity - winning football. The Armagh vs Tyrone Ulster final replay in 2005 is my favourite game of all time (outside all those played in 1991 and 1994 of course)

Monaghan arrived late at the ground, goalkeeper injured, sub goalkeeper left the panel, and the full back now plays in goal!

WTF!

[:(]

It's a no bet now. Something very wrong in the dressing room imo.

Very strange.

Seems like Betfair have paid attention to last week's complaints, they're monitoring the games live.

If we're all on the internet we all should have streaming and live video.

They also update the scores on the live page:

http://www.sportsnewsireland.com/2010/06/06/gaa-sunday-live-scores-results-6th-june/

And there's also RTE's matchtracker:

http://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/2010/0606/gaaupdates.html

No need for it on the forum.

shocking from armagh to allow a score as easy as that from the corner of the field

Armagh went soft after the opening period, thought it was over. It's difficult to step it back up again. They should come out in much better shape after half-time.
