I think its fair to say Win Only would have paid up IMO, been around a while, a regular contributor and has an opinion.

Wospo had a similar bet on the AP forum regarding St Nicholas Abbey i think it was- he lost and paid up straight away iirc

So yes he would have paid up imvho

paid every bet i have ever had, thought thats what gentlemen did.

In fairness to Paul he had a great no lose bet there, hopefully at least some of his friends (if he has any) have seen this, and can at least see him for the person he is.

allez ..it's 2010 we now live in, and you are the idiot if you are among a group of people who thinks it's ok to take a bet online without money from somebody you dont know. If your teen child did something similar in a chatroom you'd be both disappointed and angry at their stupidity. Imo this is an issue of stupidity over honour.
