Being ''Irish'' -leaving aside the complexities of this kind of label-- is an accident of birth in which you were entirely passive and is plainly not an achievement. Accordingly , your claim is a patent absurdity and an affront to logic. It makes as much sense as saying that you're proud of having blue eyes. :D
