agree to an extent. When I was young it was a stigma relying on benefits. Nowadays, and been like it for a while, it's a lifestyle with the challenge of how much can you rinse out of the taxpayer. Take daytime television off the air. Might encourage the layabouts to look for work (work being something that can occupy their lives instead of being a couch potato getting obese and diabetic, alongside developing 'mental illness' brought on by living a life of a benefit ponce and layabout. |

The level of general financial know-how is genuinely shocking. At least in my experience. I work in accounting and so many of my colleagues are unaware of basics such as pensions and savings accounts.
You only need to watch one of those Martin Lewis shows. The government had to ruin the domestic energy market, as searching and switching to lower costs suppliers was beyond much of the general public. |
