I thought the old boy by ran really well. Looked big and well , will improve fitness wise. Some Grp 3/listed races around Europe on soft ground still winnable. No need to retire him just yet!

Did you lay the fav?

“Will I back at the price, no because he pulls too hard”. Actually what I typed, you didn’t do too much laying did you?

Everyone saying his odds were false due to his run against Ombudsman surely filled their boots when he went odds on?!? Crazy

When I wrote that I wouldn’t back that was when he was evens.

Cheers CagliariG. Indeed yet ANOTHER winner banged in by slick. 11-2 winner in a 5 runner race. My 11.29 last night post and 9.23 am today said it all. No fear to put up my opinions. Especially when I'm near certain. Isn't that what the forums meant to be About? Did anyone else put up the winner pre? Apologies if I missed it.
The fricoco of nature is drone ridden. Absolutely clueless and useless without it. Slick goes by knowledge and instinct. Frico knows his place on here now. Positively seething along with his dummy downwiththeirons. How does slick KEEP banging em in they bellow. Ha haaaa keep frothing whilst I count up my winning dockets Grin

Well I guess he's saying that because he got thoroughly outpaced by classy younger horses, anyone who watched him look to run on empty late on after setting a crawl at Aintree, where Henderson's face post race said it all in the days they were hoping they had a GC horse, would be very worried about him over 2 miles on the flat.

I'd imagine he'd be seriously exposed in an end to end gallop in a Melbourne Cup.

He is not going to the Melbourne Cup duffy.

They walk in stayers races in France, they’ve missed the boat, the prix Royal Oak is left, Melbourne was never going to suit cos of the going.
By:

When: 05 Sep 26 16:05
Any horse that stays two miles at Chelts would get the trip at the pace that they travel over there.
By:
GLASGOWCALLING
When: 05 Sep 26 16:07
Hmm, So Ryan Moore seems to think the horse wants a drop in trip, while Loughnane seems to think a longer trip will suit, while the 2 girls on ITV both seem to think Retirement beckons.
All very confusing, I wouldnt be surprised if connections agree.

NH has stated all along that getting him qualified for Heritage Handicaps was the aim.
By:

When: 05 Sep 26 16:10
He was a hurdler. First ran in a point to point ffs. Why anyone, including Mr Buckley and Henderson, ever thought it was prudent to pursue a flat career at 9 truly beggars belief.

They talking as much through sentiment, to remember him as…

One thing people seemed to agree on is that he’d come on for it.

I don’t mind if they race on or retire. The burble burst long time ago.

But thankfully it didn’t happen with a fatal fall, whatever we say at least the owner done right by not making him jump anymore.

By:

When: 05 Sep 26 16:19
Well maybe they have memories of what Overturn did?

As said I’ve said race in France where they walk, the French stayers rarely get the distance (1m 4f +) over here due the gallop they go.
