Kiran Kaur, the mother of 18-year-old Henry Nowak's killer (Vickrum Digwa), was sentenced to three years in prison for assisting an offender. Standard UK sentencing guidelines require offenders given sentences under four years to serve half of their term in custody. This means she is scheduled for release by Christmas 2027, not 2026.

I hope the murderer's mother serves at least two years from the date of her imprisonment. Then deported to The Punjab, if not born in the UK. Hopefully, the entire family too. The murderer could only have acted in this abhorrent manner eg knifing another individual, lying about it and leaving the individual to die, if the family environment was that way inclined. |

Offenders sentenced to at least two years but less than four years will normally serve half their sentence (40% for most offences from September 2024) in prison and serve the rest of the sentence in the community on licence.
she will serve 40% of 36mths ..14.4mths..i have never seen anything that when charged she was remanded in custody. |
