It’s like that game that kids play where you smash the thing with a hammer everytime it pops its head up!

These two are the same! Laugh

I was there last night and played Gethin for small....The winner was always doing enough and I doubt was flat to the boards.

The old "never change your mind" rule cost me a little yesterday, but managed to get out in the last fortunately

I did the card on Tuesday and came up with

1710 OLD IS GOLD NR

1742 WHERE LOVE LIVES 1st

1812 SWEET WILLIAM 2nd

1842 1 or 7 1st and forecast

1912 OMBUDSMAN 1st

1945 RAMMEE 4th

2020 ?

I ended up backing

1710 KILLAVIA 6th   (after Old Is Gold was a nonner)

1742 A BEAR AFFAIR each way @ 13/2 7th

1812 FURTHER 6th

1842 YAZIN 8th

1912 GETHIN 2nd

1945 DARK TORNADO 7th

2020 LAW BREAKER 1st

I wouldn't be afraid of another crack at Ombudsman' - Owen Burrows eyeing Coral-Eclipse rematch for Gethin after thrilling Brigadier Gerard

Gethin was beaten by a neck at Sandown on Thursday evening

Says it all.

Maybe Gosden has Da Man a bit more straight so he did win this knowing the task at Ascot?

Let’s not forget that Damysus was set to go for the Dis’Phan until Daryz was directed there!

You are using BF to promote your views yet probably do not even have a funded A/C

I’m not into self promotion, it’s discussion about racing. I also do singles but don’t see why I have to prove anything to anyone.

You said last night that you bet to make money, I approach horse racing differently.

You are the equivalent of a customer taking up a seat in a pub and not buying a drink.

It’s called having standards I don’t bet on crud, I wait. I can wait because I’m not hard up.

In a pub I’d put my hand in my pocket and buy a pint for the company that I’m with, you’d probably make that cheaper and scare or bore them all away! LaughWink

Not sure why there is resentment to Wooton for his winner.

For me backing horses is about value.

He thought he was a 1/2 shot but backed him at 5/6.

That is a big play, and he obliged.

Lump on Sonof but not for me and if you do good luck.

By the way I can’t see many congratulating him on his win?

Feel free the C&P the scores that came on after and said cheers mate!

He's fav now for The Eclipse at Sandown next month with Con River probably doing a runner, according to AOB. Let's hope Con River goes for the Juddmonte at York. The Irish Champion is in Sept is a long way away since the French Derby.
