Caesars bought William Hill, retained the US operations, flogged the offal (WH, 888, Mr Green) to 888 (now Evoke).

'DIE LINKE', that makes sense. I thought they had a US venture that was doing ok. 888 is not a good bed-partner, and smacks of desperation. For instance, presently ASDA, a retail behemoth, taken over by the Asian brothers who are not grocery-minded and using massive leverage is a disaster waiting to happen.
