If racing against the likes of Eddie Stone is now his level then pull the plug and put him out to grass, they knew the going in the morning if not the day before at Sandown.

We punters don’t need the likes of , “and so he was or is” looking out for out concerns!

Another shat person like the London Mayor with Sir before his name!

Didn’t the good thing of the day fall when racing against BonJon before his win at Chelts? Confused

Which caused doubt about him and helped the bookies horse go off odds on?! Laugh

Ground should be safe, loads of these runners are over the top by now, then we have Punchers so there’s no real competition, that’s the real damp Squib.

surely JP wont embarrass himself by running FTF on the fast ground at punchestown after pulling him out at chelts

I’ve not watched is the ground as you say? It’ll be funny if he does if so!

Hopefully AP can come out and tell us his concerns for punters! Grin

I’d not be betting on these races, I’m pretty sure that it’s like in the trials, stablemates are running when not fit against another, over weight and it’s take turns to win to keep owners happy.

Barge pole stuff.

Without the presence of Gaelic there’s no race, it really is Mickey Mouse stuff.

Agree Impossible, he tipped Iroko for the National then the money came big time for I Am Maxiumus, claims about punters being sold short?!

Like he never knew that plunge was going to take place!

I was surprised that you didn’t think that BonJon should have been racing yesterday just a couple of days after being withdrawn.

Iroko didn't exactly run a bad race did he?

He didn’t win though, he knew who was the one and I couldn’t back anything with the pleb ontop.

You see there’s a difference he kept his mouth shut and didn’t say pile on. In that case don’t mention punters ever again.

Ever.

There was a massive bet on the Wnr @ 8/1.People can make their own minds up.
Do you honestly think he managed to put punters away by tipping the 2ND?

You haven’t given a view if they missed a trick by not running BonJon yesterday after complaining like they did at Chelts about the ground and now you’re trying to puck me apart?

Jonbon,what you on about?
By:

When: 29 Apr 26 16:23
Did he tip it each way?  I’ve not said he put punters away but he didn’t point them (those who don’t know racing) in the right direction did he?

With Grangeclear West unseating at the first and Nick Rocket being a non runner did Iroko do anything special? He was behind those two last year and might well have been this year.

BonJon was fit to run over 2 miles or just short of on Saturday, it’s all above Plain

Yet he didn’t make the trip a few days later over a similar trip when supposedly fit and ready to go Penzance.

The owner chose to run one (the unrealisable Bookies horse) &  in the National he ran loads, they missed out on place money yesterday at least as said last night.

Temps had fallen at Sandown earlier this year. You can’t win if you’re not in and this is the Horse that Nicky proudly says has never finished out of the first two.

JP does not just bet for himself. He does that for those close to him too.

Unless fate intervenes the winner of the 2026 National whose name escapes me at the moment will definitely run regardless of weight. The record of Red Rum is too tasty not to try and emulate.

But, there's a mega difference between the Nationals that Red Rum won and the 2025 and 2026 victor. They are like "chalk and cheese", I'd say.

The point is, the horse is getting on in years and was ready to go but they missed an opportunity.

It’s I am MAXIMUS and it’s not the same race as Red Rums years, not that I saw Impossible

I never saw Red Rum win either. The earliest was Rubstic. I was only a wee lad with GCE 'A' Levels to complete.

As said they missed a trick by not covering all bases and keeping options open, makes the horse like a flat tracker.
