To think people believe Coolmore do not know the right distance for their horses!!!
This game is not for everyone. |

Outstanding trainer with an enviable record and has seen some outstanding animals go through the yard but he could lay off the hyperbole once in a while as he hails the second coming season after season with the said animal often sinking without trace.
"We have never seen anything like X,Y or Z before Gary" is wheeled out ad nauseum and it wears a bit thin after you've heard it for the 15th year running. |

"Stallion Promoters" should explain it

They know the right distances for their horses? So they entered Albert Einstein in the Derby as some sort of joke?
By:
Brandy I think you have contradicted yourself, you start off saying they are not putting the public away and the say To think people believe Coolmore do not know the right distance for their horses!!!
Which is it ?? |

* Then say.

To think people believe Coolmore do not know the right distance for their horses!!! ![]() Sort it out Ms Critical! You ask : brandyontherocks • March 29, 2026 6:12 PM BST Im confused. What would be the point of O'brien trying to put people away? You certainly are confused Brandy! They ran two horse both one time favs in last years Derby over the WRONG TRIP! I’ll let you work out why that was innocent one in world of corruption! But I gave you the reply to what you asked and backed that up, Delashay • March 29, 2026 6:24 PM BST How was he that price after his run in the Dante? In a race where they had another convenient non stayer as Fav with stable jock on @ 2/1 Whilst Lambourn won @ 13/2! Made all and set strong pace, clear over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, stayed on strongly, unchallenged Slight of hand ![]() I’m sure many benefited from that! Isn’t it convenient that two non stayers were ridden out the back and looked after!? Do you remember their excuses after? Delacroix took a bump early on ![]() ![]() ![]() I’ll remind again Sleight of hand, a feint, whilst you watch the feint jab you get caught with a swift left hook in the name of an uncontested leader throughout and stayer Lambourn! ![]() |

aiden said or it was reported that albert einstien wasn so far ahead of the others ,i am assuming then 2yos that they thought the others cant be much good ! fair enough but gstaad and a few others proved to be top level as 2yos so is albert eienstein indeed an exceptional horse at up to 6f who was smashing the others at home on the gallops and may have just been rusty and found out by the trip and going on saturday ,i said somewhere that the commenwealth cup may be a better bet than the gns last week and he is 12/1 for that ive had a few quid ante post at that price .not a lot yet as things can change .

The ante-post betting for the Betfred 2,000 Guineas was thrown into turmoil on Tuesday when Gstaad and Albert Einstein were incorrectly scratched from the race.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien stated that both colts were removed from the Newmarket Classic on May 2 due to an administrative error and that he is working to try to get them reinstated. O'Brien said: "There was a blip on the computer. Something happened, the computer went bananas and took out a couple of horses that weren't meant to be taken out. We are hoping to get them back in and could do with a bit of common sense being applied. "The people here in the office were trying to take the horses out of the Dante, but the Guineas flashed up instead and that button was pressed. They were pressing for the Dante, but as they were pressing the Guineas flashed up. They weren't meant to be taken out of the Guineas and we are working on getting them back in." ![]() |

@RacingPost BREAKING: Aidan O'Brien has stated that Gstaad and Albert Einstein were removed from the 2,000 Guineas due to an administrative error arising from a computer glitch. The trainer is still working to try and get both colts reinstated. O'Brien said: "There was a blip on the computer. Something happened, the computer went bananas and took out a couple of horses that weren't meant to be taken out. We are hoping to get them back in and could do with a bit of common sense being applied. The people here in the office were trying to take the horses out of the Dante, but the Guineas flashed up instead and that button was pressed. Thanks for the update

By:
Computer error or human error? Obvious which one O'Brien is going to pick. If it was computer error then how come it hasn't affected anybody else? The last thing they should be doing is reinstating just because it's O'Brien. Can't they supplement?
By:
yes they can supplement. £30k 5 days before race
By:
No doubt one of the geniuses on here has made a fortune on it...
By:
Do people believe that it was an accident?
On Sunday he was talking about Moore riding Gstaad with a view to newmarket! All these shenanigans [ |
By:
No probably not an accident but instead it was probably a genuine mistake.
By:
why does AOB want to reinstate a horse in to 2000 G,who he told us 48hr ago was a sprinter ?
By:
Both to be supplemented.
By:
The Boys know.
By:
"What has happened won't affect what we will be doing. They will stay on their programmes. At the moment, it looks like we are going to train Albert for the Guineas, and that has also been the plan for Gstaad. I'd imagine the lads will supplement them if we decide that's the thing to do."
In other words, Aidan thinks Einstein is a sprinter but has been overruled by Magnier into having a crack at the Guineas. |
By:
A horse can only run in the Guineas once, so why not? Can still go down the Commonwealth Cup route afterwards. And it wouldn't be the first time an AOB horse makes a miraculous recovery/improvement.
By:
Stro you’re on then? Hoping for the oracle?
By:
No, i rarely bet on flat racing.
By:
So my antepost bet on Albert Einstein is now scratched? i backed him after that poor run the weekend at big prices, what's the rules here. Is my money gone?.
By:
Ok cheers Stro it seemed like you were hopeful of a run still, all this is just to murky the water cast doubt.
Can’t see anyone championing his chance. Even after the Lion in Winter flopped in the Dante people were after backing him, recall Wally saying that he’d go in if it was pushed to 10/1! Think it was 6/1. If supped it’s a runner surely? |
By:
Can get bigger than 10’s for him now

A gravy-trainer journo has suggested to give AE another chance citing Auguste Rodin and City Of Troy, both Derby winners after flopping in The 2000G. I think this journo is being disingenuous and unprofessional.
Auguste Rodin had an eventful and troubled run in the 2000G eg ran into the back of a runner, stumbled, etc; City Of Troy was way undercooked, and ran very keenly. He also had an episode in the stall. Albert Enstein ran with the choke out throughout last time. He also never ran further than 6f last season. He suffered a setback too. |
