£50 stakes is plenty

TTT, does your 'high volume smooths out variance and luck on a daily basis' work every week?
|
|
By:
if you have a strong edge, then the more bets you have with that edge, the more likely you are to be infront.
|
|
By:
Times change and if TTT ups his stakes he will soon find out the reality of I/R now without form study

after a week that is

By:
I'm assuming TTT's pre-race.
|
|
By:
these bets are all pre off, no inrunning.

hope your edge holds TTT, get it banked before this place RIPs!

Pre Race with no form study

someone put up a thread about a pro making 12% roi, burning the midnight oil. wingerwanger i think it was. i thought i can beat that just by looking at the odds, i dont even look at the horses name half the time. maybe im autistic ?

TTT….
Ignore anyoldiron…… Pre race is what punting is all about since time began….. |
|
By:
The Risen captain black who introduced the exchange absolutely destroyed the betting ring…..imo.
|
|
By:
spot on ace, it was a great innovation , but it killed the skill/fun/gambling for a living element of racing, albeit opening other avenues for people to make it pay. I much preferred the former.

How many so called professionals in the game have been warned off swifty……
Playing pink…… Knowing the results before the horse left the stables….. |
|

Miles the pudding…….and kipper pinch……

Gambles in the betting ring nowadays the bookmakers will point to the machine…..used to say the office, now it’s the machine…..
|
|
By:
There's those types ace, but for the form book guys, it's killed the way of life/dream because it's all about form study and value, and you won't find that in the ring.
|
|
By:
Feel free to listen to Aceform who has lost on here every year,TTT.
That he has the temerity to lecture others on betting beggars belief. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pre off betting with a "worthwhile view", which I regularly do' Aceform stated that Old Park Star was "a million" ![]() |
|
By:
and you won't get on the night before or the morning ace. If you can turn a profit taking 5s when in the old days you were getting 10s, well, it just can't be done at the ROIs required...imo of course.

Times change and if TTT ups his stakes he will soon find out the reality of I/R now without form study
![]() Go and have a lay down RACINGSTAR, nobody mentioned i/r, nobody mentioned form study, apart from that it was a very informative post. ![]() ![]() |

Aceform has slaughtered more Tanks than Rommel but continues to offer advice
![]() A more clueless individual would be hard to find |

... He obviously hasnt spoken to TTT before or he would have known his MO without letting his arrogant mouth run away with him.

By:
No more bets until the Flat starts is a wise choice for the Two Bobber
|
|
By:
Are there no more Owners for you to try to dig dirt up,Grassgow
|
|
By:
Must be hundreds of bots set up on here Pre race that have no form input but dont let that detract from your nonsense.

There certainly are plenty of Bots,Grassgow.
Jolly Jack Ramsden's son had one that went rogue and slaughtered a chunk ![]() |

If I lose it will be by my own judgement.
Each to their own |

Basher doesn't seem to be too ivolved on BF
Has no one told him that no one loses on Betfair ? Regarding Syndicates and Subscriptions ,I have not noticed him walking round with a Gun |
|
By:
i can understand where tame the tiger is coming from form study wise ,we all have different ways of approaching a race and for years i did detailed form study and tbh it got me nowhere ,in fact it tied me in knots . now i look at a suitable race and if something catches my eye and the price is right ill focus my attention on that horse then ill look further and if a lot of credentials are met that will be the horse i back very rarely do i do more than 1 race per day .it works for me.

So the model seems to be about building a strong and continuous social media profile, more so especially during periods such as Cheltenham week, when casual viewership spikes with many tuning in who don’t know the sport that well, while only leasing horses (12/24 months?) rather than owning them outright, and positioning yourself as the 'syndicate manager.'
It does make you wonder how much he’s actually pulling in through syndicate management fees and associated costs. He sounds like a sort who would be running up to Matt Champan for an interview, whereas it's usually Matt who does the chasing. |

By:
Value is another myth imv,if the individual has a good day then that’s value tbh….too many so called experts like spouting nonsense about value…
Staking plans are nonsense as well tbh,it’s what you think the bet is worth imv……bla bla…. Ten bob or ten large….. |
|
By:
This is the reasoning that has seen Aceform lose on here every year
![]() |

I’ve heard it all tbf,nonsense imv…

" YAP YAP " Is that the sound of a Jack Russell snapping at someones ankles ?? No, its RACINGSTAR just out of his pit.

This is the reasoning that has seen Aceform lose on here every yearLaugh Do you disagree with any of that statement,Grassgow? If so you are even more stupid than I thought ![]() |
