Keep trying Harold lol
Superb. |

Just as well Aidan and JP didn't send Istabraq back to the flat after falling. A true great of course, unlike a horse who's only won the CH once.

What would the decision have been 20 years ago without social media?
Will be interesting to see what decision is made re Sir Gino, given his woes have been much more grave. |
By:
The horse would be in the line up.
By:
Istabraq would be getting over 2 stone from Constitution Hill according to Timeform ratings.

formoftheace 25 Feb 26 17:29 Doubtful to win on the flat unless they go back to the AW….. even before we nah what race? dave give it up son ya fckn tatey. |

Don't know anyone who thinks Timeform are in any way relevant to their punting. Just another person's opinion. This rating Just proves the point even further. Jamie Lynch the top man says it all.

If that Mullins' rag could win in America I think CH could win a very decent race abroad too. I might even back him as long as Hendo does not shout from the rafters about his well-being.

Give it a rest, you’re exceedingly boring. |

He is also thicker than a donkeys dangler, saxon but with sensitivity of a Rhino
By:
and during this time yard sponsor Unibet are taking bets on Constitution for Champion Hurdle with a non runner youve done yer dough.
By:
So is it running or not ?

Glad that they haven’t gone with Adell and gone back to hurdles, I thought that she loved horses, her logic for going to Chelts was pocket talk perhaps?!
I.e, that the Champion Hurdle looks a weak race, well what is so frightening about the stayers division on the flat? ![]() |

It's easy to be brave on behalf of other people.

Agree when there’s no direct comeback should the worst happen.
There’s plenty of races to be had ago at, we had tiny fields all of last year (Burkes Al Qeem bullying from the front over and over), stayers races in France were much the same (weak) , CH is one race and the horse is more important than that. The Gold Cup at Ascot doesn’t even have to be a factor. The horse enjoyed running again and Adelle suggested holding him up out the back at Chelts but that’s what destroyed him by taking him in behind horses. I remember the first time I saw him run at Ascot or Kempton he was just bowling along, Murphy confirmed he has an engine, win or lose there’s nothing lost as he’s getting on but seeing him win was great! ![]() |

Listen and listen good.....There is not a snowballs chance in hell that C.H will run in The Champion Hurdle Whe it comes to the crunch Henderson and the owner will realise that there is just to much to lose.Reputation respect it all goes out the window if the worst was to happen.......Now come back and say Acey was right when you hear he will not ever jump another obstacle in public. ![]() Credit where it is due lads i think Acey deserves a wee pat oan the back fur calling this wan. ![]() |

Your reasoning is entirely correct AD good to see that there is still a thing as common sense still around, his last race and fall were on the 29th November.
You posted this view on the 24th Feb? |

By:
The way Hendo spun it solely for the benefit of the bookies was disgraceful and disingenuous. As 'acey' emphatically stated there was not a chance in hell CH would run over hurdles post his series of falls.
By:
Yet,implausible also did not profit from his opinion
![]() |
By:
How many months did it take Acey to form that opinion?! Conversely how many races did Constitution miss in that?
By:
He won't but it looks luke Lossiemouth will finally get her chance.
By:
Hope they retire Constitution Hill…….soon !

Just a 103 RPR on Flat debut with more to come on Turf. But yeah OK form!

Can’t bare the thought of all the hype this coming flat season for a NH 9 year old tbh….
I wish the big horse well ….. The thought of the gravy train…… |

The usual nonsense from the Two Bobber

Just ignore and get back to basics....the enjoyment of watching a good horse in good races
By:
There are a few big plans in the offing but has it been considered if the John Porter or whereever he turns up ends up being a damp squib, obviously not anywhere near comparable to watching something go amiss in the Champion, but in it's own way, watching him get run over by younger flat horses in it's own way will still be a sad sight, wouldn't imagine they'd persist for too long if/when reality bites.
By:
Who knows what CH might achieve but is entirely the Owner's decision
By:
Of course, what I could see happening, and I wouldn't rule it out, is, and I fully accept he could be a star on the flat, if the flat venture doesn't work and they are left stranded and we start to hear, well, we might try him back over hurdles again, we never said he's finished forever, blah blah...could see that.
By:
The fear of the "Pinko" Animal rights bleeding hearts seem to have already put paid to that venture, duffy
By:
Maybe, but that's with the backdrop of the flat holding new glories for the horse, let's see what happens if the flat doesn't work out.

I rather enjoyed the Nicky Henderson/Willie Mullins sections. |
