If it does run and wins , what does it Prove other that the horse managed to Jump round ?

Duffy , hype is different , hurdles on a course are at unrelated distances , it’s closer to show jumping ‘ related ‘ distances at home . Am sure that Yogi has worked extensively on takeoff distances but a race is different.

I will happily leave that to the Owner.
I have strong fancy if it doesn't run so I concur,Nanny.

I do - not because of any financial interest. He is a NH horse , a champion. It's what he was bred to do - his destiny.

I'll be there - it sets up the whole festival - atmosphere will be electric.

Life is about taking risks.

If the Horse or worse still Nico are badly injured ,  it will be on the front page of the papers the next day , A total disaster for NH Racing  ,Just to try to  prove he can still Jump hurdles ?

He would trounce this lot if he were as good as he was he is not , I would like to remember the horse he was , Not a horse killed  for little or no reason

He won a shyte race round southwell ,Have a bit of fun on the flat see how that goes

prob be a couple of orses sadly killed at Chelts , we really dont need to be trying to add to that total

as for this schooling business he has had plenty of Schooling  .....

Then stop NH Racing entirelythen,Nanny.
There are always risks in life and I am more than happy for the Owner to decide.

The disaster for NH racing will be when horses are not running because of the fear of what people that hate the sport might say.

He has fallen 4 times and was well beat in his only completion , as for prices if he does Run , keep an eye on the place market I think you will find the value may lay there

I dont hate the Sport GO  , I dont want to see the orse with a green tent up around him , You ?

Form of his last 5 races its odds on he will not complete , or am I missing summat ?

I dont think the horse will run in the CH.

The horse deserves to have a wee flat career in his last couple of racing years before retirement.

Who knows, he may bag a group 3, or maybe better in one of the weak group 2s in France.

The Country is full of apologists like you,Nanny.
If you ever pay the Training fees you will get a say.

A group 3 ? - Who remembers those ?  ... A double CH winner - with a chance of a third next year - become one of the all time greats ....

Shoot for the moon - you won't get another like him.

(Obviously subject to him popping over a few hurdles OK in his school - if he messes that up then fair enough..)

Of course I wasn't suggesting you hate the sport nanny - I assume it won't be you calling for the sport to be banned if the worst was to happen.

I'll be there as usual and know full well I'll probably be seeing multiple fatalities during the week. I think it's pretty unlikely CH will be one of them even if he runs.

What happens if a moderate horse is killed tomorrow ?

What happens if a grade horse dies in Ireland during a race ?

Just shut down NH……

All about Opinions , I think the horse has lost the plot over hurdles , I would not say nico will be brimming with confidence if they do line up

If the moderate horse had FFFF Figures ace it may well be expected it would fall , Would the horse still be Jumping with those figures /

Considering this horse is  over Hurdles with those form figures ,Its a no from me ,Mental issues involved IMO

By:

When: 24 Feb 26 20:10
He nearly came a cropper at the last because of the rider, good chance the horse doesn’t trust him….after all we are lead to believe horses can tell ……they know when they’ve won Bla…..

I firmly believe he is to blame….

Anyway as stated down to the Connections ,If he doe's run I hope he flies round and wins ,for the sake of him  his Fans and the Sport , If he gets beat  Which if he is 80 % Right and Jumps wont happen . I will not be on saying I told you so , Just hope him and Nico are safe and sound thats the main thing

It's pretty obvious that they are very keen to run because he would have been pulled out already,it will have to be a pretty poor schooling session tomorrow to pull him out

He is an absolute cert to line up, just don't know why Henderson won't just grow a pair and stop this nonsense of playing up to the public, I'd say 90% of racing fans want him to run. The other 10% are paranoid about what the wider public will think when in reality 99% of the general public are not even aware of the horse. As for Skelton, would be interesting to see would he retire The New Lion should he fall again next time.
