Good God!  Absolutely no reason to fall there.  Under no pressure at all.  Surely finished now. I agree.

What a gulf there is every year between experienced hurdlers and second season ones. I usually back Golden Ace but she was so poor last time that I risked a small bet on Constitution Hill! I think she would have beaten The New Lion as he was not going that well when he fell. 22/1 crazy for a Champion hurdler but we all get carried away by a poor run. I see no reason why Golden Ace should not retain her title if she stays healthy.

Constitution Hill is shouting loudly at us that he does not like jumping nowadays.
It's horrendous to see the a demise of a magnificent champion and it'd be cruel to persevere with jumps.

francome said this week they should put him up the backside of another runner pull him out just before the jump not giving him time to thinkabout it.

just over 1L in front being hard ridden..winner was still travelling..no idea what would have won.

The horse can’t jump a hurdle he fears it now. Needs looking after.

Skelton did the big look back on the Lion, like Dickie Johnson used to do, the result a fall. Never like seeing a jock look over their shoulder since, sends the wrong feel to the horse.

If they have any respect for the horse they will just stop now. And if he's ok give him a try on the Flat next season

gotta be retired now or run on the flat only - going to end up getting killed otherwise

Agree WP as I said he was a horse that loved to run, now watching him he looks like a Sunday fox hunter with a toff on its back out for a jolly

that's what I thought cider   there could be negative clues before race

Jumped the first fine so looked at the market, and he was 1000! Watching on itv. tbf no sign of it up to the fall but his brain is well and truly fried.

TNL was beat IMO, thought he wanted to run out at one earlier too.

The one bet to come out of that race is Wodhooh for the Mares.

If anyone thinks the jock is confident going in at each jump would be lying to themselves, the horse feels that.

change of yard would actually be the last throw of the dice. though exceptionally unlikely, obviously.
